Re: Signed Books
Some time back a friend of mine gave me a Ninjak #1 signed by Joe Quesada I believe along with X-O #0. How do I get them authenticated, if at all possible.

i'm no expert-but since the experts decided not to answer you, i'll pretend i played one on tv.
i don't think it's possible to authenticate a signature that was done in the past (obviously forensics experts coulddo it-but it's not commonly done with comics)
the only way i know of to do it now is with the cgc sign it slab it method.
valiant's vvss methos was really innovative, and i'm surprised no one is using it today! or are they?[/url]

As far as I know most people feel its not possible to authenticate a signiture. Some try and take photos of the signing but that rarely helps. Most books that are signed see no price hike at all, in some cases even a drop. There are a few types of signitures collectors trust - Dynamic Forces or other big book sellers, company authorised (like VVSS), CGC authenticated (i hate this idea). Hope this helps
