Just interested.
I buy Hardcovers and the issues.
I will buy one, sometimes two. I will go for the ratio variant but if not available just a standard issue.

For this unique promotion I may buy 5? of each
That is a gamble, but I can give sets of 47~50 away So others can enjoy it ( but then cannot buy it as its ending

A great promotion, if a run lead off like this ~ we as valiant fans could give away the first few issue to get people buying the series.

Anyway. Please vote.

X-O is my last title that I am buying monthly before switching entirely to trades and HC's. I am just picking the best looking standard cover and buying that one issue. This way I will have an entire run of the series in single issues.

Guess for me it just depends on what they have left on the shelf. I know I will want to open a few, and I know I will not open a few. Guess I am thinking 5+, maybe more if I can afford them...

My LCS only orders 1 or 2 of each Valiant title so that I'm sure to get one, and he usually has 1 for the shelves. I'll likely only get 1 issue as normal as I'm more in it for the story and not the collectability side.

I'm buying one each as my pulbox but I've convinced the shop owner to buy two for the shelves this way I have three opertunitys to get one original art. If they don't sell then I've agreed to buy them. I plan to get one high variant probably of issue 50 for my ongoing collection and it's another change to get an original art work.
I'm going to be peeeeved if I buy 13 comics and don't get one original art work.

I hate to publicly talk about this but here goes... I am very upset about the decision to end XO. I have heard from numerous sources that this will make sense once I read the story. I used to buy 4+ copies of ea Valiant title. When the reboots and renumbering started I stopped getting all the variants and took my issues down to 2 of every cover. I had given serious thought to only getting a handful of issues that I love now that we are on the next A&A and EW series. I hate this trend. Now with the doom and gloom being said I will probably make this my last big push around the L.A. Area. 47-50 I figure I will end up with close 60 of ea. Issue, maybe more. I love to talk up and promote Valiant but I am a old school collector. DC got my interest with Detective and Action going back to original numbering. I want long running series. I love spider man (esp Amazing right now) but after yet another relaunch I only pick them up at 50 cents to a dollar ea. I can read digital cheaply and keep up if need be. Hopefully XO will be amazing and relaunch a flagship title and series and then it and Rai will keep me around!

I'm trying to rationalize getting an extra copy, hoping for the original art.

The odds are too long to play the game. I'll probably pick up an extra copy just because. If I get lucky, great. But I'm not gonna invest a ton of money on the gamble.

THought about just buying one ~ then hunting ebay for the original art.
Then I thought if I buy five, I have stuff to give away

which is great ~ but then they cannot continue.

With so much original art floating about, I wonder what they will go for?

I bought a couple different covers. Tempted to go Wednesday to a shop and buy a bunch but don't know. Odds are, this issue and the next 3 are going to have the best print numbers X-O has seen for a while.

The goal I heard from Valiant was a 1:40 ratio for an original piece of art. Not sure if that was achieved. Will be curious to see what people start posting starting tomorrow. I personally made a deal with my LCS and purchased 50 of them just over his cost. I might actually start opening them tonight.

Welp, I'm 0-10... the micro prints are really nice though, got 1 color, which is sharp, but that's about it
