xo 47-50 original art giveaway
Xo ManOwar 47-50 will have prints of original artwork accompanied with the comic. And randomly inserted real original art work.
Does anyone know anything about the presentation of this really cool give away and tribute to the title.
Will The prints be in the comic? Is it to be bagged and boarded or do they plan to polly bag the whole thing. Will shops give them away with the purchase of the issue?
What are the odds of getting a original art? How meny?
I don't know about your guys but I'm really excited for this.

Re: xo 47-50 original art giveaway
Each issue of “LONG LIVE THE KING” (X-O MANOWAR from #47-50) will come bagged with the comic and one of 50 exclusive, 4-by-6 inch “micro-prints” featuring one of 50 X-O Manowar illustrations or full-blown, beautifully rendered original artwork randomly inserted. The micro-prints or original artwork will be tucked inside the comic. They will be included at no additional cost. The odds of the receiving original artwork will depend on how many copies of each issue are ordered but we are aiming to make them avaliable at odds similar to the ratios the QR Voice variants were avaliable at in 2012. Each issue of the arc will not contain all 50 micro-prints but will include one quarter of them. All 50 micro-prints will be included at approximately the same odds (depending on final orders) across all 4 issues. The incentive variant editions of the issues will also come bagged and include micro-prints or original artwork.nonplayer wrote:Xo ManOwar 47-50 will have prints of original artwork accompanied with the comic. • Do the variants all come with the prints, or just the "A" covers?
• Why are you calling it a countdown when each issue is numbered one above the previous issue?
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I probably will order a ridiculous silly number, Dinesh.
Any idea what the presentation of the polybag will be? Can you see the cover through it? I presume so with all the covers available.

Think Wizard Magazine polybags. There's a little info on the top calling out the free micro-print but the rest is clear. You will be able to see the cover through the bag.nycjadie wrote:I probably will order a ridiculous silly number, Dinesh.

Really digging these prints! I am switching over to trades only, but I am glad I decided to pick up the last 4 issues of X-O to make a complete raw collection of the series. Nice work, Dino!

Re: xo 47-50 original art giveaway
So does that mean the variants of long live the king will only have the original art. I'd love one copy of original art Un opened for my xo collection. I'm off to apply for a fourth job to be able to afford it because buying it from one of you is the only way I'd get one. Three shops in my city one hasn't gotten an xo book in 6 months and my shop is to small to order any variants I've asked him to order two extra copies of 47 for the shelf and if they don't sell then I'll buy them but is it only variants that will get one of the originals? I can't buy a ton of normal issues in hopes to get one. Will the fifty only be spread through issue fifty variants. Do you think we can tell if it's a original issue by looking through the bag??? Waaaaaa
I Miss the good old days.

Noneplayer ~ chill
I will probably over spend ~ but guessing these are going to fly off the shelves ~ I think they will be under ordered, not knowing that the valiant collectors that just pick up one issue will probably buy 3. Or pick up their standing order plus grab a few off the shelf.
This book will sell out fast. What happens with the second print Dino? you ready for that!

The question is: What will people do with thepolybagged issues? Leave them sealed and never know what art is in them? Or open them up?

If I were one of the artists doing sketches for these I'd be pretty *SQUEE* that a load of my sketches never even got seen because collectors left them sealed in their damn bags... Totally wasted time drawing 'em y'know? Pointless.
Open these bags!
