Especially "dude." And "balls." Those terms work in the tech industry.

V1 and Acclaim Foreign Editions?

Post by nycjadie »

I'm looking for the countries/languages and titles that V1 and Acclaim published. Any resources? I couldn't find much on the boards.

Germany (Dino):
Armorines 1
Shadowman 1-3

Italy?

Spain (Norma Editorial):
Ninjak
X-O

There are some archive copies of Seaborn Adamson's incomplete list and there used to be a complete site dedicated to foreign valiants, but I don't find it now. Then there's this post:
http://www.valiantfans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1518" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also http://www.stripinfo.be/strip.php?reeks=10521" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; / http://www.valiantfans.com/forum/viewto ... =1&t=34499" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There are also a few French ones. Some Magic the Gathering and some V2. Will need to check that (EDIT, on a quick check I just find two oversized Shadowman magazines).

EDIT 2: Some Nintendo stories by Valiant were published in a Swedish gaming magazine...

Also there are some foreign pre-Nintendo issues as well - Cheesasaurus Rex and Kenny Kid (KFC), not sure if there are foreign issues of Adventures of TheO.
