Does anyone own the OA on any key covers? Anyone know who owns the cover to Harbinger #1? Or should I rephrase my question, Dan which covers do you own to key issues?

The bulk of my collection can be viewed here:
http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=2223" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I own a lot less key art than I'd like. Much of it these days is not affordable or unattainable.
Still, I've gotten luck over the years and have been able to pick up some art I never thought possible.

Wow Dan! I love those unpublished Rai #1 pages. The Solar Alpha and Omega, Rai/Magnus flipbook, A&A#0 pages are all amazing. I love seeing old stuff like this. You have a great collection Dan! :clap:

No covers but I have been lucky enough to pick up a few OA color splash pages of some key Valiant moments:

Harbinger #9, p13. Penciled by David Lapham, inked by Gonzalo Mayo, and colored by Maurice Fontenot.
Image

Deathmate Prologue page 1. Penciled by Barry Windsor-Smith, inked by Jim Lee, and colored by Joe Chiodo.
Image

Solar #0 page 3. Penciled by Barry Windsor-Smith, inked by Bob Layton, and colored by Janet Jackson. Signed by Janet Jackson and Bob Layton.

I dug through some threads and found this one about the Harbinger #1 cover: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18290" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

In short, someone bought the colors for around $1k and David Lapham does not have the original inks.

The interiors of Harbinger #1 had a asking price of $12k (for all 30 pages), back in the mid-2000s. No one bought the lot. The pages were auctioned off individually on eBay. After the sale, there was a thread tracking the pages and price paid per page. I can't seem to find that thread now.

Thanks Iggy that was an interesting read. Too bad it went to someone it appears isn't much of a fan. They made a good buy at $1k though.

Found the thread discussing the interior pages of Harbinger #1 auctioned off by Lapham in 2008: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21372" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The last post on page 5 has a list of all the pages and how much they went for.

We talking just VH1? I think DBS has a lot of VEI covers. I have the cover and double page spread where the brothers are taking away the Boon in A&A #0.

I own VH1 Harbinger #10 Page #5 Pencils, ink, & colors. Signed by David Lapham.

I consider this page to be the FIRST APPEARANCE of the H.A.R.D. Corps. There was a picture of a "hand" on Page #5, but no face or characters. This is the first we see of the actual team.

I also own Maurice Fonenot's colors over BWS's cover for VH1's Archer & Armstrong #10.

Double-cell frame display (CGC 9.8 copy of A&A #10 was acquired finally this past week in a trade deal with a fellow board member, and expected to arrive this next week. Will post pics of the final completed display)

The closest VEI key cover I have is the Armor Hunters 18 cover interlocking art. So, it's actually 18 covers all in one. I still haven't framed it yet. It's about the size of 4 regular comic art pages, and covered issues that had the first appearance of GIN-GR, and the hunters, of course.

One of my nice key internal pages is tge last page of X-O 24, which is the first appearance of the Armorines in armor.

Two great pieces. I think OA may be my next venture once I finish my VH1 collection.

My closest contribution is below, one of the two designs BWS did for Eternal Warrior #4, 1st Bloodshot. The other pose ended up being used for the cover.

Image

I also own the original pencils/inks as well as colors for the "Death of Shanhara" page...
Image
Image

As well as the colors for Solar picking up the new armor for Aric
Image

As far as key new-Valiant pages, here are a couple of nice ones in one photo:
1. Pencils to our exclusive cover for Unity #1 by Philip Tan
2. Full original color cover for X-O Manowar #5 by Philip Tan, that was not used. First appearance NInjak, and you can see his face in the sword. THey used the other version, also by Philip, without a helmet. Every single person I have showed it to, prefers my version.
