First I saw that this was coming out in June on instocktrades.com, then July 1, now Amazon has it releasing on 7/18? Anybody know what's going on?

It was solicited to come out today, it's coming out next week. Amazon is usually a couple weeks behind.

So with solicitations, is the given date the ship date? On the Valiant website it does say "On sale" next to every date on their situations. I'm new to the whole pull-list/solicitation game

The given date is what is supposed to be the ship date. They tend to run late with tpb and hc collections. They haven't missed a ship date on a regular first print comic book.

I'm guessing this means there's less incentive to have TPB's out on release date?

VEI TPBs are often late. VEI HCs are almost always late. VEI individual issues are ALWAYS ON TIME.
