Okay let's get this contest happening ! I'm sponsoring a contest for supporting Valiant, and have looked to others here for advice and ideas, and here we go !
Here's the prizes :
1) 9.6 SS CGC Harbinger Wars - Clayton Henry
2) Archer & Armstrong #14 NYCC Variant
3) Unity #1 red preview
4) Harbinger The Beginning sealed HC
5) VH1 Unity slipcase with first TPB
6-10) surprise prize (likely variants)

Here what we do:
Start a page/group on Facebook featuring a group or individual from VEI, get 10 likes/members and 5 unique user comments/posts to have an entry. Must have an "about", at least 2 pics, and 2 Valiant related links.
"Valiant" must be in the page/group name to making searching easy.

Voting for favorite entries will be done here.
I suggest posting links to this site on your page/group as well to encourage more votes for you.
I will be posting this contest to the existing Valiant fan groups on FB, but feel free to promote it there or elsewhere yourself.

This contest starts today (4/27) at the ends on June 7 (giving about 5 weeks to give everyone a chance).

If we get 5 or less entries I will be the sole judge (and very sad) of who gets what prize. If we get more than 25 entries I will come up with more prizes beyond the top ten.

Small amendment:
For support from the existing VCF FB group. If you are member there, note it in your entry as even if one person in the group doesn't get voted to top ten, then highest votes for one in the group will get a top ten prize.

Changed the unique user comments/posts requirements from 10 to 5 to help with any folks who may not have gotten into this contest until almost the end. Thanks

edit - And to clarify, if you get your group/page up and running by the deadline I will give one week to finish the requirements. After that all full entries will be noted and the voting will begin !

Nice ! I don't want to be rules guy right off, but general Valiant discussion page/groups aren't what the contest is shooting for. We're trying to get specific people/groups in this push. I greatly encourage all angles of general Valiant group/pages (I'm a part of those I've seen, and still looking- like yours now ). So, honorable mention ! And depending on how this pans out, may have second string prize potential

Hey, I'm a 48 year old barely computer savvy dummy, but I did mange to put up a FB page (it's for Castle and Bones). It's pretty easy as FB walks you through it. And actually I had this CGCbook up for sale here before (I have 2 of them), and after awhile I decided that it would be better used as prize for generating more press for Valiant.
Really, give creating a page on FB a try, if I can do one it ain't hard. Judging from how many entries the contests generally get, you will have good odds

Add Valiant into some reworking of the title and I would be okay with this page as an entry. (and I have 'liked' the page )

edit- Looks like we have our first entry (renamed) - I Love Zephyr and Valiant comics. Entry will be complete when it completes 10 unique user posts (I did one and there is already 3, so 1 more to go, please visit and at least say hello !)

Pretty sure there is still a myspace, but it's definitely not a thing. I understand that even craigslist has beat it out for getting cheap sex and hunting down pedophiles

Either is fine. Hopefully by running this contest (and posting it everywhere and networking it) more people with drop by these pages to fill out these pages/groups more ! This is the likely toughest part of the contest, so blast your FB friends, post about it on it daily, and just network what you can
