Harada is literally a badass.
Just take a look at the Mico Suayan sketch:
I believe his farts are made of pure darkness.

Re: Sketch cover gallery
I would think that Bob Layton hasn't drawn Erica Pierce in 20+ years .. yet drew a perfect sketch of her. Pretty remarkable.
Nice job Hawk. You got an amazing collection of sketches.

Love the Bob Layton Erica Pierce. And the fact it's on the new unity cover makes it all the cooler.

Bob Layton Erica Pierce & Mico's Harada seriously kick some serious butt. For reals, man.

Pretty epic to get Bob Layton to do Erica Pierce.jmatt wrote:Yeah, that's amazing stuff.grendeljd wrote:Bob Layton Erica Pierce & Mico's Harada seriously kick some serious butt. For reals, man.
He is one of my all time favourite classic comic book artists. I've been a fan since he was doing Iron Man in around the early #200's, and I spent years tracking down every issue of IM he was a part of prior to that
And I have to say Mico has easily become one of my all time favourite modern comic artists.

I need an opinion- Should I see if I could get Phillip Tan to go all the way with this cover, inks and colours? He's in Vancouver from the 18th to the 20th and once again my pal Roberto will be there, I may have a shot at getting it doneChiclo wrote:I like this one the best. I'm kind of torn though because the pencils are so nice and tight I'm tempted to leave it like that so the work is visible.
Any thoughts from the group?

Hmm...I can see why you're torn. The pencils look great! I'd say keep it as is, but then again, it would also look good inked and colored. I guess I'm not much help to you, because I'm torn too.hawkeyeps wrote:

Wow, I never even thought about getting a blank cover copy and then commissioning an artist...what a cool idea! And some of these covers are really nice! Hmm...
