Yep, he told me he was going to finish it at ECCC. I was very happy to see it arrive today. I'm excited to see Mark Bright's sketch as I love Q&W. Then I've only got about 10 more sketch covers to get done.hawkeyeps wrote:Cool, Clayton had that at ECCC and I've seen it in person. Very niceIntrepidxc wrote:Just added this to my collection. This is a thing of beauty. Holy crap that is friggin amazing. As nice as the Mico of Bloodshot was, this is probably MY favorite sketch cover I've ever seen (and it's not even mine )Intrepidxc wrote:Just added this to my collection. Pencils only because dang Clayton Henry isn't cheap!

Thanks! Clayton Henry was also the easiest artist to work with so far (by email/mailing anyway they are all easy at cons).Bone-A-Fach-ee wrote:This is a thing of beauty. Re: Sketch cover gallery
Mark Bright just emailed me this cover. I don't have it in my possession yet as he just finished it, but I can't wait to see it!
Now I just need to find artist to do 12 more covers....at least until VEI releases more blank sketch covers!
I think I'm going to have the following lined up soon(ish):
Dave Johnson - Shadowman Sketch - Baltimore Comic Con
Sean Chen - XO Manowar Sketch - Baltimore Comic Con
Jim Calafiore - XO on Unity 1 - Awesome Con
Neal Adams - Unity 1 - Baltimore Comic Con
I'm also going to send in the four sketches I have to CBCS for grading and signature verification. They have a program called VSA that verifies signatures. It's slightly different than Signature Series as it's verified after the fact, but they say if the signature is validated they validate the art.
We'll see how it goes!

Anyone know if Mike Leeke takes commissions. Would be cool to get a sketch from him.

These are the sketches I've picked up this year.
And, before anyone says anything, I can't help it. I like his stuff. And, he was very friendly and willing to talk to fans.

I'm a huge fan of CAFU's work - this one is really excellent! Did he draw it for you during a con, or did he take longer on it?

I have one of each valiant blank, (2 each of the flip books). not sure if I want to get sketches, or keep them pure.
anyone else think blank blanks will go up in value since so many have been scribbled on?
