not a sketch cover, but I hope it's okay to share in this thread...my Faith drawing by David Lapham! I was actually torn between Faith and getting a Stray Bullets character (crazy, I know...) then had an idea to try and add a dash of Stray Bullets in this drawing, so I asked for the slightly manipulative smile Beth gets when she tucks her hair behind her ear...sometimes it's a sincere smile, sometimes it's because she's just found the perfect patsy...and I think he nailed it. it's a slightly sinister smile for Faith, maybe something wicked flashing in her eyes...I love it!

My latest commission from CAFU. I present Mech Major (aka Sunlight on Snow). I sent him a Imperium sketch cover, but it's held up in Spanish customs. He went ahead and did the commission on a VEI comic board. I love it so much I've asked him to do another on the sketch cover whenever he can get it out of customs.

I thought I marked everything appropriately per the customs guidelines to show that I'm not importing, blah, blah, blah. I listed the value of the comic as $20. Hopefully it won't be much. Thanks guys! I really brgan to enjoy his art on the He-man run. The art has a 80's cartoon quality about it that reminds me of Gi Joe, He-man, etc.. I thought "Who better to draw a ninja?" He's a really nice guy, & was really great about communication. I am going to get a Bloodshot Reborn cover done in the fall if he's accepting commissions. He's primarily DC, but I crossing my fingers to see him work a Valiant title.
