Are some of my posts invisible to me or is hawkeyeps going senile?

I must be losing it, I swore I saw 2999 it was probably 2099.
It's Canada Day and I'm having a beer and chillin after a week of disaster flood recovery (helping others I was okay), I'm bruised and exhausted but feeling good.
Sorry for the false alarm
At least it jacks up our post count, where is this String guy he could have got like 20 posts in here
Too bad he's from the "Sunny South", that can't be Canada and I still need someone to sign up for the Canada set.
Happy Canada day everybody, who's next?

Yeah, seriously, do that. When I first joined I just looked through the Valiant sections and commented or asked questions on things that interested me a page or two deep in the thread list, and I racked up 50 posts in maybe, a few days(?). If like me you're new to the Valiant universe you'll have a lot of questions to ask as well, so that'll up your post count quickly enough.String wrote:As someone new to the Valiant Universe overall, this is a terrific idea.

It's easy, quick and fun to do, and it'll show that you've got the commitment to borrow the library, so go for it!

Re: * * * VALIANT TPB - LENDING LIBRARY IS HERE - SIGN UP NO
Appreciate all the good suggestions, thanks.
I do have one question about Amazon though. The last few times I checked there on Bloodshot Vol. 1 TPB, they have a notice saying it will usually ship within 1-2 weeks and that it's under review since some buyers/reviewers had some kind of problem with it.
I don't know if it's Amazon's description of the book, their shipping policies of it, or something about the book itself. Anyone here know why?

There's an option for next day delivery, so I'm sure that all's fine with it
The book can be a little gory in places, but there really isn't any seriously morally offensive or questionable content in the book, so I can't see why there'd be a problem. And I don't think there's anything worse in there than has been in any Rambo movie, so I'm sure it's fine

Re: * * * VALIANT TPB - LENDING LIBRARY IS HERE - SIGN UP NO
UPDATE: 07-11-13
We finally received Bloodshot Vol #2 today!!! (Thanks to VEI! in providing this Volume and for being 100% behind this project)
Plus we also received a second set which will be specific for the Canadian Lending Library Hawkeyeps is organizing.
Upon looking at new wave of books that arrived, something to mention is that Harbinger Vol #1 and Bloodshot Vol 1 are already on their Second Prints. Which we can assume that VEI has sold out of the First Prints of these trades.
I ordered the first Seven Volumes from Amazon (the USA Lending Library Set) about two weeks ago and the only Second Print I received for X-O Manowar Vol #1. What I have also noticed with the second prints of Harbinger and Bloodshot Vol #1 is the gloss on the cover stock is a bit less compared to the first prints.
There is also a small variation between X-O Manowar Vol #1 first and second Prints. You can see there are diagonal lines on the spine of the first print while the second print has a solid white background.
These will be prepping and are scheduled to leave very soon.
8 Volumes of the Lending Library.
Nice spread of the 8 Volumes of the Lending Library.
Top: First Printing Variation; Bottom: Second Printing Variation.
Left: USA Lending Library; Right Canadian Lending Library
Tall stack of VEI TPBs.

Re: * * * VALIANT TPB - LENDING LIBRARY IS HERE - SIGN UP NO
This is an awesome idea! I almost wish I'd seen it before I purchased all the VEI back issues and setup my subscription services!
I wonder if I could "review" the TPB since I've read all the individual books that make up the TPBs. Is there anything special in the TPBs?!

Re: * * * VALIANT TPB - LENDING LIBRARY IS HERE - SIGN UP NO
You certainly can review the TPB since you have all the individual books. The TPBs have the variant covers from variant issues but other than that they are the compilation of the respective issues. You will need an Amazon.com account to post a review but if you have that and have read the stores, we would LOVE for you to post your honest reviews. Such reviews REALLY do help VEI more than any of us know which is why Elery and I are doing all we can to get people to do the reviews.
Thanks for the offer and please go ahead and put those reviews out there.
