gold key digests

Post by Zero_UK »

Gold Key produced a number of paperback sized 'digests'. Does anybody know if there were any for Magnus, Solar or Turok?

"March of Comics" #378, #399, and #408 are Turok issues...
Hmmm... I don't know what other digests there might be.

Turok Digest

Post by Steve Topper »

I'm fairly confident that Gold Key did publish a Turok digest. I'll have to look over my collection tonight and check. I believe I have a copy of that digest. If I find it, I'll try to post a scan of the cover.

I don't believe they published digests of either Doctor Solar or Magnus, though.

What a shame. Still, it would be nice to get one or two of the Turoks. A very unusual silver age format.
I look forward to seeing the cover scan,
:P

By digest, do you mean a books the size of the readers Digest or TV guide?

According to Overstreet, the March of Comics issues were published in a 5"x7" size with 16 pages. The digest I posted was approximately the same size but contained 132 pages with a thicker cardboard cover.
