Is Rai still coming?

Sorry if this has been discussed previously but is a Rai comic still coming?

I know that Bleeding Cool rumoured a whole bunch of new Valiant comics and noticeable by its absence was Rai. I thought Rai was coming based solely on the SPRING 2013 teaser.

There was very little mention of Shadowman before that announcement. And spring still has a few more months to go.

Perhaps the new titles will be announced the 27th when the Diamond previews itself becomes available.(or in the Previews of later month)

I don't want to start a new thread to ask this so I will just ask it here;

What is the connection between Rai and Bloodshot?

I know the new Rai hasn't been revealed yet so we don't know what this connection is but I want to know what the old Rai connection was.

Also, was the red spot on Bloodshot's chest also a wound that wouldn't heal in the original Valiant? Was it the same for Rai?

Rai came first in terms of publishing, but it was later retconned that the Rai's were designed by Grandmother to resemble the "Great Hero Bloodshot". Later, the Rai's would be injected with the Blood of Heroes: Bloodshot's own nanite infused blood.

Pick up a copy of Rai 0 on comixology. Most important old Valiant comic - by far. Quick history of all things Valiant - old school.

It wasn't so much a "wound". Rai's was just a circle, Bloodshot's was a mark of where the Nanites were injected, as were the later Rais who received the Blood of Heroes.

The new Rai is actually going to be Australian. Since they're in the southern hemisphere, we have to wait until September for their Spring 2013.
