Is there any demand for the VH2 & VH3 Acclaim runs?
Hey All,
I am back after a long while and am in the process of cleaning out some storage space for due to a new addition to the family. Unfortunately, the wife does not feel that keeping multiple copies of "comics that I do not read" are worthwhile in storage is a good thing. As a result, I was wondering if there is any demand for the Acclaim VH2 & VH3 stuff right now. Specifically, are the prices high enough to make selling them worthwhile? Most of the books I have are variants or the really low print items. Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Skiw

VH3 is the name given to Acclaim's re-re-boot in 1999.DawgPhan wrote:maybe I am missing something but what is VH3?
Acclaim's re-boot in 1997 was "VH2".
Then they stopped publishing in 1998.
When they started again in 1999, it could be called "VH3",
especially since Shadowman is Volume 3.
But, Quantum & Woody is the same in VH2 and VH3,
so it's probably more like a VH2-a and VH2-b...
Since neither effort is longer than two years,
it hard to justify really proclaiming them Universes VH2 and VH3...
So I generally stick to labels like:
Valiant (1991-1996) (VH1)
Acclaim (1997-2002) (VH2)
VH3 is a good way to imply 1999-2000 issues
without having to name the books.
(Armorines Volume 2, Shadowman Volume 3, N.I.O., Deadside,
Quantum & Woody #18 - 21, #32, Unity 2000)
(...and except for Turok Evolution in 2002, Acclaim was all done in 2000.)

My first reaction was to send you a PM offering to buy. If you really want to most bang for the buck, inventory and list your items in the BUY/SELL forum and list prices maybe based on this sites price guide. *shrug* Just an idea!comicnut_1 wrote:Specifically, are the prices high enough to make selling them worthwhile? There is no interest and they are worthless. I be happy to take them all off your hands to free up space for comics of value.comicnut_1 wrote:Hey All,

Well, due to the level of interest I will compile a list on the weekend and post it on the buy/sell/trade thread (and pm it to those of you who have contacted me already). Hopefully all of my VH2s will find a good new home.
Would anyone object if I dropped Gordon (aug002) a line as well?
Cheers,

Hi All,
The list has been posted on the Buy/Sell Thread. I think that there is another half box kicking around somewhere but I will need some time to dig them out.

Is anyone interested in Broadway or Defiant books as well? If yes, PM me and I will send a list.
Cheers,
Skiw
