Can we assume thats the Future Preview Book everyone was talking about.
Re: Eternal Warrior? What the heck is this?
That's my guess. This is probably what the board members who paid him are getting from Carter.drmirage wrote:Can we assume thats the Future Preview Book everyone was talking about.

Re: Eternal Warrior? What the heck is this?
This will be interesting. I guess I might have to try to get one of the "Future of Valiant" issues now.
I actually hope they just work him in to A&A for now. I like EW a lot, but it feels like they're growing the universe a bit too quick.
I guess I have something to look forward to this weekend as the announcements come out.
Re: Eternal Warrior? What the heck is this?
I assume when they say "Future" they mean 2013. Just cause they're previewing it doesn't mean they are accelerating their growth quickly.

Re: Eternal Warrior? What the heck is this?
It just seems a bit too early to start teasing a title for next year, especially under the assumption (that could very well be wrong) that Rai is the next title. I don't think they're going to announce another title launch for this year (I believe they even said that the next title wasn't until Spring 2013). It just makes more sense to me for them to announce his coming in the same way that Ninjak came to X-O. Then maybe next Summer give him a title.tchalla8 wrote:I assume when they say "Future" they mean 2013. Just cause they're previewing it doesn't mean they are accelerating their growth quickly.
My opinion: A&A #5 will start a story arc of the return of the EW that will probably involve Timewalker and the Boon. The fact that they're calling it "Wrath of the Eternal Warrior" is what has me most intrigued, though. Maybe Timewalker did something to him after the Aric stuff and he's been missing ever since?

VEI keeps hitting home runs.
Re: Eternal Warrior? What the heck is this?
I expect that's what coming. They dropped hints on the next A & A arc in this month's lettercols. I expect that he'll show up in A&A before getting his own book.etos45 wrote:

Re: Eternal Warrior? What the heck is this?
I am guessing this is like the innitial Ninjak tease and is really referring to his upcoming (speculative) appearance in A&A #5. If there is a preview of that appearance in the "Future of Valiant" preview book, along with Shadowman #1, then that would follow the structure of the FCBD preview book pretty closely. I would then also expect a few teaser images for upcoming appearances (like Rai), creator interviews and pin-ups/splash pages.
All that being said...That logo for EW is freakin' sweet!

Re: Eternal Warrior? What the heck is this?
I am hoping its for an ongoing series! EW was by far my favorite series from the original Valiant universe. It was also the only title I kept on my pull box right up until the end (yes, even though I thought the "Eternal Warriors" series was really bad...I kept buying it because I was such a big fan of the original).

As much as I'd like to see an EW solo title, I'm all for the slow roll out of titles.

Re: Eternal Warrior? What the heck is this?
Anyone know what time the panel will be on Saturday?
This will be my first convention and I am very much looking forward to it.
Quick question that is off topic. What the heck do I do with all the items that I purchase when Im there? If anyone knows me, they know I will basically need a cart of some sort. Can I walk around with a radio flyer with a long box on it? Serious question...I am that big of a convention newb

At HeroesCon I noticed a few guys walking around with those suitcases with wheels on them. Most (like me) just used a book bag. I'm no vet, though, that was my first con.VEI Reborn wrote:Quick question that is off topic. What the heck do I do with all the items that I purchase when Im there? The flip books are $25. The Future of Valiant preview is free, I think, but Carter can probably correct me if I am wrong.maraxusofkeld wrote:Are these and the flip sketchbooks free at the con?
We don't know what "these" are yet. It's probably just a promo image, not the cover to the preview book.
