I wish I did. I need to invest in some some new bags and re-do ALL of my books.

I just pull the bag off, roll it up and stick it in my back pocket.

Now, if it's in a slab, I just pop the seal, slip it out of the plastic, pull the little piece of acid free paper out and wipe my butt with it.

Yeah, supply costs are killer.

These guys are pretty reasonable. I like their resealable bags.

No matter what i buy or where it comes from i re bag and board.

We bought 20,000 comics mainly bagged and me and Drift spent a week taking them *SQUEE* stained rags off teh comics. EWWwwwwwwwwww.

We did not re bag and board them BTW. that would be bad.

When i buy for myself i unbag and recycle.

Then they get boxed loose. Mainly cos i buy tat and anything worth a damn gets bagged and boarded.

The boards over here are mainly not good although you will be told they are.
The more expensive boards costs at twice the standard non ca boards and it hurts.

I love how we try to justify the 'new' prices of things after we haven't bought them in awhile

I use silver size too.

Gives that bit of room to breathe.
Modern is too tight and can lead to damage.

Depends on how bad the bags are.

If they're all smashey, and the books are condition sensitive, then yeah. If not, no.

I've got maybe...I dunno....40-50 long boxes of unbagged/unboarded books around. Sigh. My eternal project.

Don't worry, they don't get MOVED, which is what causes that stupid "ink rub transfer."

The 3 mil bags are nice too, if you can find them at a reasonable price.

I rebag and board every backissue mostly because I hate price stickers, and that tattered look the bags usually have. Regardless, I’d recommend changing any bag and board for books older than five years old as it’s probably over due anyway.

I don't care how new the B&B may be, I always replace them. I also insist on using Silver age sized B&B's for all my comics, new or old.
