Another great episode guys. Eternal Warrior was my favourite original Valiant character. The first one I actively collected a complete run of his own series. That being said I dropped the new series with issue 5. Was chapter one of the future storyline. Just didn't do it for me. Too disconnected from his other appearances in other books so far. But after listening to your show I might try the other issues if there is a Comixology sale.

About the question of whether Eternal Warrior's granddaughter is just a normal person, in issue 5 when they're poisoned by radiation he says "I'm an immortal and you're my granddaughter. We might actually live." Granted, he might just be trying to make her feel better by lying, but he hasn't generally done that, and if he's not lying, that suggests that she has longevity that most people don't.

I would not claim to be a capable knife fighter. I do know a few techniques and have certainly reduced my fair share of dead animals to meat ready to cook and I do have more than a couple of suitable blades from which I can choose.

The latest 'On the Road' OTV podcast was superb!! The Sean/Elveen debate on having a full Valiant collection was hilarious!! I could've listened to that for another hour

The Elveen piece on moving from collector to dealer was also excellent. I like hearing about the business side as I'm sure other listeners do too so not sure why Elveen is reluctant to talk about it?

Anyway, great podcasting, hope the 'on the road ' version happens more than once per year!

Really enjoyed the Sean/Elveen on the road episode, guys! Great stuff. It's very interesting to hear about things from the dealer's side of the table. I always enjoy your post con reports on the board and I wouldn't mind if there were more of these types of episode.

Regarding Gambit, I remember reading that he can charge any non living object. The larger the object, the more time it would take to charge. So he could charge a boulder in maybe an hour or more, or a playing card in less than a second. That was the given reason for why he uses cards. Plus they look pretty cool. Loved all of the X-Men talk.

Also, we need to have Sean record reading an X-Men issue where he does all of the voices!!!

CrossGen - that's a name I've not heard in a long time.

I tried to get an internship there when they first started, as it was near where I was living at the time. They were nice enough to interview me but decided they didn't have space for an intern.

I never picked up much of their stuff but Elveen has definitely piqued my curiosity.

Side note: Around the same time, I tried to get an internship with Future Comics (who knew Tampa, FL was a hotbed for comics) but Bob Layton said, "Thanks but no thanks."

To be fair I really had nothing to offer either company except for a winning smile and a can do attitude.

Not sure, brutha. The only comic that I've heard of that won't feature bonus material in trade form is the extra content within the Rai #1 Plus Edition. I'm guessing that all of #25 will be collected at some point.

In reference to episode #151, I don't believe that Livewire could be a Vine. The reason? We were at some point told that the X-O armor can't be used by Vine at all, and that the reason that a human could use it while the Vine could not is not that the human is the chosen one, but that it was intended for non-Vine. I suppose you could rationalize it away (maybe normal Vines can't use it but human-form ones can) but on the face of it, having Livewire be a Vine contradicts this.
