was not truly aware these existed as they are not listed in the main site...Thanks all for adding something else to collect within the Acclaim world  :P

Notwithstanding however, this brings up another question I have...Where exactly can one find a list of all published Acclaim comics as I have come to discover that the Acclaim world of publishing was much larger then previously thought, ie BAD EGGS by Layton and Perlin

:?

Zero, here's some information I found going through some old documents.

Acclaim's bulk sale of Classics Illustrated inventory contained the following:

Frederick Douglass = 0 copies
Scarlet Pimpernel = 2,500 copies
5-Book Shakespeare Set = 712 sets
5-Book Greatest Authors Collection = 536 sets
5-Book Adventure Epics Set = 544 sets

Hope this helps! :thumb:

anyone notice these auctions?:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?M ... ompleted=1

Eight copies of the Douglass book. One guy has to be a glutton and buy every copy up for sale. I could have bought them all from the seller for $25 each, but I didn't want to lay the cash out and not be 100% sure I would get my money back. Oh well... :|

I have a section on my site for Acclaim's Classics Illustrated.
http://sonicdan.com/VALIANT/classicsillustrated.html

My favorites are the Korean editions that I got from Mr. Black a year or so ago.

All sixty-two titles were licensed to South Korea.

The initial print runs of these first five titles ran 3,000 copies each.
As of November 2000, these were the only titles printed, however, they hoped at that time to have an additional 25 titles printed by March 2001.

That's about all the informaton I have on these.
Hope that helps!
