I started a group called Marvel Comics Fans 1961-1997 on Facebook on December 29th, 2020. When it hit around two months old, it took off. We’re now over 11,000 members, and adding 100 per day. It’s easily found on a Facebook search by using the name of the group. All are welcome.

I of course helped with the New Universe checklist, which includes appearances of the characters all the way up to the present day. Fellow board member Josh Deck helped with that as well.

So sweet! This will have several covers, including a Star Brand and a Warriors of Plasm cover!

In 1996 a one-shot was released in the Marvel Edge line called Savage Hulk. This is a pretty rare book and should sell at a really good premium.

Sooooo disappointed by this. I've waited for a 9.8 slab of this book to come to market for years now . This sale just wrapped up and I got sniped on it at the last second. I honestly can't believe what it sold for, but I chaulk this up to MCU speculation about Frankie Raye 1st and the Quantum bands...

X-Men 53 (1996), which features the first full Onslaught, is rising. Lots of copies have been selling too on the Bay.

Spidey Super Stories 11 has really taken off recently.

I’ve been reading lots of Masterworks. Also working my way through other collected editions, like DH Conan Chronicles and Peter David’s Hulk run in various formats.

Haven’t looked at prices on that book in a few years. Was surprised it appears to be down in value. Thoughts?

It appears the first appearance of Korvac (Giant-Size Defenders 3) sold 5 CGC copies in January and 14 copies in February. Anyone hear any new Korvac rumors?

The fanzine is nearing completion. We just have a few tweaks to make, then I need to proofread it for corrections, and they then need to be implemented.
