I thought it was a cool concept issue. I agree not much happened. But it's harder to show much happening with that visual limitation. I liked it and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. Although I would like an explanation for why his nanites blacked out.

Now if we can just get an official announcement from Valiant/DMG to release the hand break and let the wheels start rolling.

Great issue overall, and I was surprised to realize half way through that it was Ryp doing the art. I knew it felt familiar, but he really toned down the 'messiness' and dirt suspended in the air from his usual art style. There were still signs of it in the blood flying and all, but neat to see that...

However, the zeitgeist of Superheroes, in my opinion, has reached saturation point in the cinema.
