Its a scam. They just invented something to create another level of collecting. a monopoly they created. Ive never been excited about grading. Jmo No, they filled a niche, as ever since slabbed 3rd-party grading came up and we as a community accepted it, it became a lot easier to buy comics online ...

Please god don't let it be the Gold Key characters. I fully expect Dinesh and crew to offer up some fresh ideas. It would really be a shame to see them try to go backwards and trade on nostalgia. Besides, in 2019 the whole concept of Magnus Robot Fighter is preposterous. The idea that A.I. and robo...

Re: Pressing
I just don't like it. That's all I really need to say. I don't want pressed books. Since there is no way to tell if a book has been pressed, not to mention that pressing has been going on longer than most people imagined, & I very well might have already owned a pressed book, ergo, I gave up try...

I sure didn’t stop collecting classic cars once people started washing and waxing them. I do prefer the original engine though. No modifications. Classic. Original. And preferably, washed and waxed. I will disagree with your assertion that pressing is akin to a car wash, but I won't argue with you ...

Re: Pressing
Pressing is the reason I gave up collecting old comics, and in the end, comics altogether. I was going to fill in my Uncanny X-Men collection that I started when I started buying them in 1983, but after I learned about pressing, I didn't want to pay NM prices for a book that's really VF- but has bee...

Fables would be a great mini-series on a cable network or something like Netflix. They could 3-4 seasons easy on the comics alone, might stretch that out a bit with some new writing as well.
