Re: Fan Art Fridays

I didn't submit one today since its not finished. Here is a sneak peek at the painting I am working on. https://photos-b-lax.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/s720x720/999379_10201719392612957_1849746564_n.jpg That reminds me of the covers of old school science fiction novels. Love it. :thumb: I suspect th...

Dear VEI,

I promise to allow others to supply me with all the VALIANT goodness I can handle. You have great fans...Caniac, DrMirage and Paul Smith to name a few.

Keep up the good work and I will find for our missing friend, Paul Smith.

But maybe if Stephanie Meyer had written Deathmate the whole thing might've turned out better.

There might have been movies!

Solar had "sparklies"... :hm:

Re: Where's Ninjak?

I never considered Tohru to be whiny. I thought he was much like any of us would be if we grew up having our entire life planned out for us. He simply rebelled, then later, chose duty over desire. He was always trying to do what was right, even though there was no way to know at the time what was th...

Re: Deathmate... Why are you so hated =(

I thought the prologues were intriguing enough to get me interested in the series. Red and Black were just so bad. I had hoped that the art was going to be terrific, but the renditions of X-O in particular were the worst ever.

Re: Turok #1 variant/printing error?

I think that xomatic and I and maybe a few others were talking about this a few years back. The picture shows what we were trying to describe at the time. Does the "faded" one look like it might have been the chromium for the Gold edition? I think that they over printed those and that tons...

Re: Soon... YOU can PUBLISH your Valiant stories through Ama

That's cool. The idea I have would be nice for a single issue. I'll reread some Bendis though for ideas on how to spread it out a bit more. "And then he kicked him again! And again! Then he kicked him one more time for good measure!" That might work. My story A is for Enchilada has 65,000 ...

This might be dangerous for you. If he wants to be the only one who read it, he might try to track you down...maybe even Highlander style.

It's right here on the site somewhere, but you'd have to find it chapter by chapter. I could just e-mail it to you.

I was releasing it weekly on the boards a while back and a few guys said they liked it as much as anything going on in the real Superman comic world at the time.

Re: Soon... YOU can PUBLISH your Valiant stories through Ama

I'm 500 words in to my Archer and Armstrong story. I've got a nice idea, I'm just wondering how long it will be. Not sure I can reach 10,000 words with this one story.
