I thought the prologues were intriguing enough to get me interested in the series. Red and Black were just so bad. I had hoped that the art was going to be terrific, but the renditions of X-O in particular were the worst ever.

I think that xomatic and I and maybe a few others were talking about this a few years back. The picture shows what we were trying to describe at the time. Does the "faded" one look like it might have been the chromium for the Gold edition? I think that they over printed those and that tons...

That's cool. The idea I have would be nice for a single issue. I'll reread some Bendis though for ideas on how to spread it out a bit more. "And then he kicked him again! And again! Then he kicked him one more time for good measure!" That might work. My story A is for Enchilada has 65,000 ...

I was releasing it weekly on the boards a while back and a few guys said they liked it as much as anything going on in the real Superman comic world at the time.

I'm 500 words in to my Archer and Armstrong story. I've got a nice idea, I'm just wondering how long it will be. Not sure I can reach 10,000 words with this one story.
