Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
I see no copies of VEI's Divinity #1 first print non-variant on eBay at the moment. If I had that book in stock I'd try to see if they sell at 9.99 right now and go from there. If I got a couple sales at that level it would go to 12.99 and I'd re-evaluate. I also see a lot of action on eBay in the ...

I have nothing to add here. Just wanted to see if typing Dynamite gets an auto-"suck"
Edit: And indeed, it does.
Dy-no-mite!! doesn't suck though.

Re: Advice about Shipping Materials
I use U line. I like the folding mailers and cardboard pads. If I'm shipping a really cheap book, I'll use the bubble mailers with cardboard pads. I use the cardboard pads even for shipping priority boxed. Precut stuff that you don't have to fool with is great! Their boxes are good too. I find that ...

I talked to him at a con. Obviously, he knows what he's doing, but he seems to legitimately care about the product as well. Can't say that Cgc gives me the same impression anymore.

Re: Bragging rights - your best deal of late?
I found a vol 2 Shadowman 1 special edition full-sized. Any idea if these are tougher to find than the ashcan?? I haven't taken it out of the bag and board yet, but from the front, it has 4 small light color breaking corner creases and looks to be in the NM- to NM range. Any idea on value? Not many ...

Secret Identities 1 & 2 from image. If you like Jay Faerber books, you'll love this. Jay has once again managed to find a talented artist out of nowhere who will get better and better and will be snatched up by marvel or DC. It's a team book that focuses on the bad guy and there was a mention of...

If anyone has the drive to report on which vh1 books are doing well, I'd think that's awesome. I need to thin my stuff out...... If I could even walk in my comic room.

I read it. Enjoyed it. Van Lente is a good wRitter and the art was strong. The Doctor reminded me of someone, but I liked her. Can't say I really cared for the last page as that is something the big 2 would pull.

I'd be interested in the MP 15, but not at current market prices. That was a $200-300 book two years ago. I guess I should've bought then.

Re-read TWD HC 1-8 covering issues 1-96. I still haven't read much past 100 in singles. Lots of catching up to do. If only my stuff was organized....... Which is why HCs are my preferred method of reading.

Re: Want advice on image spawn savage dragon. 2 questions.
I tried out both for a little while. Spawn I started around 185. It was actually pretty cool, but it wasn't my thing so it got old. Savage Dragon was a bit more of my style, but the stories I read were a bit cheesy and the art hurt my eyes too much to continue reading it. I'd go with Spawn if I was ...

I would have to say that Fantastic Four volume 1 would be the best all time fun for comic keys. TONS of big books in that run. Interesting...... Off the top, the only books that come to mind are the surfer issues. Was black panther's first in that series? Inhumans? These type of books are just gett...

If you pull out first issues and first appearances of the main character, probably. But batman and supes have a lot of books that are old rather than "key."Elveen wrote:I wonder if ASM (not including amazing fantasy #15) would be the highest dollar amount for the keys?

Either they missed the ball or it was crunched during encapsulation.
Either way, this is why: 1. I always look closely at pics and 2. I doubt I'll ever send prized possessions to Cgc for grading.
