Valiant in Cambridge. uk. Don't even know what I am saying.

Don't know if its covid, shipping problems or ? Books are not arriving at local comic shop, yet available through their mail order. Becoming disinterested due to lack of books. Yes I could ebay, yes I could get them shipped via their mail order ~ but cannot be bothered. Slowing down on this message ...

Re: Will new Executive Editor Rob Levin save Valiant?

I would read valiant, if any of my standing order was actually filled by my local comic shop. I didn't buy X 0 5 as they didn't get issues 1,2,3,4. They then got issue 4. I said I will buy them when 1,2,3 turn up. I could buy off eBay, but cannot be bothered. May just buy trades. Badidea ships reall...

Sting ~ was that a signed edition that was damaged? Seriously on the fence about buying the signed edition, found a copy at rrp. I can get the normal hardcover for £20, the signed is £30 more. I mean to get his signature now is impossible. Need a quick review of the Hardcover first, have you read it...

Re: Shadowman (2021) #1 Exclusive Cover

Don't want to be negative. Its great that so many retailers are doing so many covers and variants. Just have a bad feeling, looks like half the print run will be shop incentives. Really hope I am wrong, and this book smashes it out of the park. Looking forward to it, but I think the days of multiple...

I was going to say this earlier in the day When only on first page of thread. Valiantdude, whatever you have to say - you have the right to say it. It's HOW you are saying it. Personally attacking another board member, who took the risk to bring back valiant. High risk = high loss or gain. it doesn'...

Re: Praise for forbidden planet Cambridge! Eniac badge arrived!

fingers crossed I get tankers 1 and Eniac 2. didn't ship to Cambridge store. Hoping they arrive. Had problems with Cambridge store over the years, missing standing order books - and ordering Man of God, offering to pay in advance ( they didn't take the money), but still never arrived. Over the years...

Praise for forbidden planet Cambridge! Eniac badge arrived!

Just want to state, that they lived up to their word. The manager promised if the gold badge ever arrived from head office it would be mine, as first purchase of Eniac 1. Happy, but also greater respect for Forbidden Planet for following the Rules of bad idea. Tankers and Eniac #2 haven't arrived as...

Re: WTB: Full uncut sheet of Unity cards

Thanks guys! Unfortunately it does not ship to the US. Send the seller a message, tell them you have a high eBay user rating (if you do). See if they will ship it. My eBay account says I won't ship to Sweden, but I will when it's Magnus. :D Favouritism. All people are equal, but some are more equal...

Re: Bloodshot #1, volume 1 3D Paper Sculpture (or Pop-up) cover version

I have made one in the past, and gave it away.
Will see if I have a photo of it somewhere.
I did more than one layer, maybe 3 or 4 layers to create depth.
Will dig out external hard drive, and check for a photo.

Re: ENIAC #1

I really really enjoyed it. I think first issues are notoriously hard to write, and give concessions to the writer. Introducing the story, characters and storyline without giving to much away ~ but also enticing the reader to pick up the next issue. I know speculators buy up first issues, but I wond...

Next convention if you see a man in a red dress with major leg exposed, it's not an attempt as a drag queen contestant.

Eniac number one, maybe they think I have a high voice for a male? But I will take it, and claim it.

Re: Estimate Print run of Eniac 1 (of 4) #Badidea

They got the Hero trade, they told me about it later. The local shop very honest ~ they sent it to head office. Other stores in the chain kept it or binned it, they where the only ones to send to head office. They latter found out what it was, when it became public and where told it would be given o...

Re: Estimate Print run of Eniac 1 (of 4) #Badidea

my comic shop only got one book for the shop, mine. Yet no pin. guy said no pin came with shipment.
It's a chain in UK, they must of kept the pin at head office for themselves.

Shame.

Manager said if a pin does arrive it's mine. Haven't read book yet, just got back from picking it up. Back to work

Re: Estimate Print run of Eniac 1 (of 4) #Badidea

I wonder? Has anyone's opinion changed.
What do you think the numbers will be.

For me its hard to say, as I read valiant ~ and through the board have knowledge of Eniac.
The wider comic book reading world, may have heard due to Hero trade prices, I wonder how wide the release of this has spread.
