VEI has never printed a book less than 1000 copies. This being a 1:125 line wide variant on 5 titles. Estimated earned copies is no more than 700-800 copies. I absolutely love my DSi XL. For that reason alone I'll be eventually upgrading my 3DS. But as you point out the colors are awfully meh. I might hold out to see what other colors will come out down the line, but if I play one in the meantime I may not be able to resist.
