Sounds cool, all the best with this dude! I can't get involved though as I'm going to be a Valiant Asia fan pretty soon so not going to be much use!

Re: Fables is good

Dropped Fables about 6 months back and not really missed it, it's not been great for a LONG time. Shame really, I think they really lost their way when they lost the town as it was the heart of the book in a way.

Re: What comics are you reading now?

I recently read Invincible #1 thanks to Comixology because people talk about it a lot here on the forum. It was mildly interesting but nothing special to me. Granted, I've only read a single issue, but I don't see why everyone thinks it's so great. :? It's not a one issue smash hit like all Image b...

Re: DC's desperate grab for market share in September?

One of the things that reeks of desperation most here is how they're throwing every villain they've got at this. It's like showing all your cards at once. Instead of these characters being introduced to the New 52 in an organic and natural way and making a big deal about them, they're just dropping...

Definitely. Might just as well buy an English issue, Tippex out all the text and then just write random letters in the bubbles instead - Instant Welsh.
Just tippex out all the vowels will do!

Re: Kickstarter Projects - Comics

Kickstarter is great for video games... but not so much for comics. The low price of titles doesn't really translate well to fundraising as you end up spending alot more due to postage etc. Also with so many ways of self-publishing - at a reasonable-ish price why would anyone need to kickstarter a c...

Re: DC's desperate grab for market share in September?

The single most desperate thing I have ever seen a comic book company do in 23 years of being a fan. Mark my words....this will be catastrophic for DC and they STILL won't take the top market share for the month this drops. This will burn out readers if the main titles that are getting villain book...

Re: DC's desperate garb for market share in September?

why is it desperate? The villains month has been announced a LONGGGGG time ago and has a clear thematic choice. Also by giving themselves such a long run in time they are able to continue the normal monthly stories so fans don't complain if they are cancelled for villain books. I feel you are givin...

See, there were these two guys in a lunatic asylum…and one night, one night they decide they don’t like living in an asylum any more. They decide they’re going to escape! Read Revival #10. Still loving it, although this issue was a little uneventful - damn decompression. At least this book uses the slow pace for character development. For some reason yesterday, I started back up on TWD. Read from 55ish to 59. Can't figure out why I'm still reading it. It's such a bu...
