Re: Shadowman [2018] #4 Discussion
I thought this issue was great. The series to date (all 4 issues we've had) have felt like the perfect balance between 90's Valiant and the 2012 relaunch. Looking forward to the next issue.

Re: How confident are you in the Valiant Cinematic Universe?
Bloodshot has a relatively big name leading character attached to it. If the story is halfway good I think it will be a success, sure not DC/Marvel success but hopefully turn enough profit to warrant more movies/exploration into TV. Personally I think Valiant would be better suited to Netflix. I rea...

Re: Ninja-K #8 Discussion
I really liked this issue and it reminded me of what I had hoped Unity would be. Didn't really read like a Ninjak solo book but really, that's a mini complaint - I had a lot of fun reading this (and the series to date really).
Great work by building on the continuity here

Re: Valiant Unveils a Slate of Four All-New Series
After thinking about these titles a little more and going back over my (overly) negative reaction I'm actually looking forward to 3/4 of these. Bloodshot Salvation #10 was a bit of a mess and the series lacks continuity, 2 standalone issues in a 10 issue run spanning 3 timeliness and includes visits...

Re: Complaining About Quantum & Woody
Contrary to popular board opinion I'm really into this iteration of the worlds worst superhero team and thought the recent subtle tie-in into HWII was very well done and had loads of character development. I also thought the mini was pretty decent as was the Valiant-Sized issue from a couple years b...

I'll be picking up:
HARBINGER WARS 2: AFTERMATH #1
NINJA-K #11 - looking forward to seeing Eternal Warrior back in the fold, hopefully this leads to more appearances
SHADOWMAN (2018) #7
QUANTUM AND WOODY! (2017) #10

Re: Valiant Unveils a Slate of Four All-New Series
I would love to see them revisit that strange place from imperium. +1 I'm content to see what they bring; no pre-conceived expectations will help. Didn't read much of the article but are they saying these are in addition to other titles, or the only four titles that are forthcoming? Looking at the ...

Re: Valiant Unveils a Slate of Four All-New Series
Not pumped by any of these titles. Where does this leave Bloodshot in current continuity? Seems strange to go back to PRS when it’s all about Omen now. Not on board at all. What about Harbinger? Que the tumbleweeds Faith and Dr. Mirage? Meh. A Dr. Mirage mini would’ve been better. Way better. Diggle...

Re: Harbinger Wars II #1 Discussion
I gave it a week between reads and the issue still hasn't grown on me. It reads like something that is out-of-continuity. If I hadn't already committed to my LCS (who only order Valiant for me and the occasional shelf copy) I would drop. The Prequel issue had a lot of promise, this was just not good.

Re: "...Management Team Talks Post-Sale Changes, Future Plan
With Salvation ending at #12, I wonder how long it will be before (if) there is a new #1? Of all the titles I thought Bloodshot was the safest to stick around given the movie news. I was wrong. Not long they will be announcing a new BS Mini next week I hear not sure who is writing it. -Brian source...

Re: Quantum & Woody [2017] #6 Discussion
Whilst not a lot happened I actually liked this issue. The art was great and I dug the HW2 tie in aspect, especially as it wasn’t overt.
Some nice l brotherly bonding here which could set the tone for the series as it moves away from the slapstick comedy into more serious territory.

Re: August Solicitations
Can we take a moment to appreciate that the Renegades are finally meeting Unity for the first time? I mean it took six years for it to finally happen, but the most of the pillars of Valiant Universe are finally in the same room together thanks to Harbinger Wars II. Faith is the only Harbinger chara...

Re: Harbinger Wars II #1 Discussion
My initial reaction is not good: 1. Characterisation feels way off. All of them aside from Ninjak. 2. Am I missing something major by not having read Harbinger Rengade 6-8? This book just doesn’t feel accessible. Will have to re read. 3. Where is Harada and what about that monster dude from Harbinge...

Re: Bloodshot Casting News
From the article: "The studio had already announced it would be moving forward with its five-film shared universe plan, based on the Valiant comic books “Harbinger” and “Bloodshot.” One would think, that logically, as a publisher of comics who own the IP, that you would, you know, actually be p...

Re: Bloodshot Salvation #12 to be Lemire's Last
Not sure how I feel about this news. I've enjoyed Salvation and thought it was scheduled to run for a couple of years at least. The issues so far have laid the path for some longer term storytelling which it now looks like we're not going to reap the benefits of. Given all the movie talk I am surpri...

Re: Heisserer's abandoned pitch for Secret Weapons 4001 AD
Man, this was a great idea! Too bad Dinesh and Warren didn't bite. I guess they had their reasons but ..... :? :!: Maybe the script was abandoned from Heisserer's side? Wasn't it his decision to not finish HW2 and stop writing for Valiant right after Dinesh was sacked by DMG? Only reason I would th...

For existing readers of Valiant this was a disappointment - that said, the center page spread was great :thumb: For new readers wanting to get into Valiant, I think it was ok. Re: Quantum and Woody #0 American Entertainment Exclusive Va
The signed copies have always been about $5 comics before the past couple of years. I would guess they're more like $15 or $25 now, since they're probably the third most desired Q&W book from 1997-1998 behind #1 and #3. The #0 book was released between #6 and #7, if I remember correctly. Thanks...
