Re: $5 VEI VARIANTS, BLACK, C2E2 SIGNED w/COA, HARBY #1 set
Sent a PM last night, but haven't heard back from you yet, Ed. It seems like you have plenty of the Shadowman 1:25 variant that I want, but would like to set up the transaction when you can. Thanks!

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Modern Comics
Spider-Man 600 is being touted for tying into the current storyline. http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-600-DR-OCK-TIES-INTO-ISSUE-698-BRAIN-RED-HOT-ISSUE-1-/290822729410?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item43b662aec2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Interesting. Ther...

Re: Shadowman #2 preview at CBR
So stoked for this series in general and this preview looks awesome.
I love Master Darque's new look - kind of looks a little Star Wars/Sith Lord-ish, in my opinion. Way better and more terrifying than the mostly naked loincloth look.

Let me know what you guys think, if you do pick it up. The concept is interesting, but the first issue felt really slow to me.MarkRoseHFX wrote:No prob! Yeah I haven't checked it out yet myself but it does look like it's worth a peek.StarBrand wrote: Looks interesting. Thanks.

Re: Discuss Your Comic Purchases
Today I picked up Harbinger, X-O, Amazing Spider-Man 698, Great Pacific 1, Comeback 1, as well as first issues of Captain America, and Indestructible Hulk. Oh, and another copy of the Shadowman 1 pullbox 'cause he was my favorite Valiant character and I'm excited to have it back.

Great job on the latest podcast, guys. Really enjoyed the interview at the booth at LBCC. Good stuff all around and thanks for asking for some film updates.

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Modern Comics
As someone who only got back into comics earlier with the relaunch of Valiant, I read all (okay, most) of the 80-something pages to this thread to catch up on things. Interesting to see what's been hot, remained hot and cooled off in the last 3 years of this thread's existence. I put some books on a...

eBay seller tips?
I go through periods of selling stuff on eBay but don't do it regularly enough to consider myself a real eBay expert. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks to share, or perhaps questions for other eBay sellers on here. Generally speaking, I list stuff on Sunday afternoons/evenings around ...

Re: Shadowman 1 !!!
I was glad to read this book last week and see my favorite Valiant character back in action! I was a little surprised at the ending - I agree with others that it felt a little rushed. I thumbed through the book at the LBCC and was surprised at the final page, so I knew it was coming when I finally g...

Re: Marvel Now
I've been picking up a few of the Marvel Now #1s, mostly out of curiosity. Valiant is what got me back into comics with the relaunch of X-O and everything since. Even though I'd been keeping up with the major events in the Marvel universe, there aren't any other books on my pull list besides Valiant...

Re: Valiant at Long Beach Comic Con!!!!!!!!!!
The panel list is up and they're doing a Future of Valiant panel on Sunday morning. My brother and I randomly picked Sunday as our day to go - now I'm stoked we'll get to see the panel! I think Dinesh and Joshua Dysart are the only announced guests so far. Looking forward to it!

Re: Anyone going to Stan Lee's Comikaze Comic Con
I went to this con on Saturday. My brother printed out our pre-ordered tickets which had a confirmation number AND a barcode on them, yet we had to stand in line for an hour to get a wristband, which let us inside. Why not just scan the tickets at the door, and get a wristband if you want to leave a...

Re: Is your LCS sold out of X-O #1?
Dream World Comics in Simi Valley, CA is sold out. I picked up the one copy they had on the rack, just in case they messed up my pull list. Turns out they had it, so I put that copy back on the shelf and the girl remarked, "Oh, I'm almost sold out." I went back today for FCBD and the other...

Thanks for posting that letter from Mr. Hall, too - very interesting to read his comments. I was thinkin...

Re: Selling new Valiant readers
Ooh, good question. I'm curious to see the replies as I'm a returning Valiant reader. I was more of a collector the first time around, and all I currently have is entire runs of Shadowman, A&A and Unity, and maybe 10-15 issues of random stuff. I'm curious to hear what has held up. I was really t...

JLA/Avengers TPB
So I was going through my shelf and came across the JLA/Avengers trade paperback by Busiek & Perez. I remember thinking the story was just kinda average and contemplating selling it, so I looked it up on eBay. Does anyone have an idea why people are trying to sell it for so much? eBay link I sea...

Re: Valiant on Tumblr
Wow, great find on Tumblr. Definitely going to bookmark that one. I was curious to see what books they would relaunch with - it does indeed look like it'll be Rai and X-O out of the gates. I wonder if they'll do a bigger story to start the whole universe or roll it out slowly with individual titles....

...and back to Valiant
I guess this is as good a place as any to make my first post. My name is Chris and I have recently become a Valiant fan (again) after hearing about them relaunching in 2012. It seems most dead comic book universes stay dead, or at the very least, get bought out by another company and then buried. I ...
