This book was a must have for me. There aren't many opportunities to get the signatures of this many of my childhood heroes of comics. But, this is one of those rare opportunities. See if you can make out all the names. :D http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb124/whovianone/HeroesAgainstHungerCGCSS....

CGC will only enter a set if a certain % of issues in the run have been graded. Turok is currently the only run with 100% of the issues graded.

I'd have liked Shadowman, but I figured I'd ask a couple at a time. My goal is to have all the "main titles" on there. :thumb:

I'd say that this is akin to show sketches. In that case, the character's distribution rights are not owned by the artist, and I don't think (insert big comic company here) is going to come down on someone for selling a sketch for a monstrous price of one of their characters. I'm sure it skirts at t...

Mine are on the side. I've got a CGC box full of most of my Valiants, and then my others are on my bookshelf. :) I think Greg puts all his in totes, and they are about 6-10 in each if memory serves. (He's got a pic around here, but I'm too lazy to look for it  ).

My reason for doing my own was two-fold. I sent in a couple just to flip, and they were selling alot easier when they were slabbed. So, I sold the two out of the 10 or so, and made alot of my money back from the sub. But, my Valiants and such that I sent were to preserve in the same condition they a...

No Shadowman #0 in the future HC? How come when Dino is looking for certain books some of us automatically think it's for the next HC? :? Not that there is anything wrong with that but I'd like to imagine they are working on other things too... :hm: DAN I thought Dino was in charge of like developm...

OK well I am new here, so NO, I didn't know who was asking for the books. I was a BIG fan of Valiant back in the day but haven't give much thought to them in years. In fact, I haven't really even read any new comics in 2 years probably, except for an issue here and there of The Nocturnals. I came a...

A rough guess might be 50% more than whatever the same book is worth with a single cover. From what I see, that seems to be fair usually. But, maybe to a Hulk collector, or a really big fan of double covers, it may go higher. I think it has a nice bonus of being the first (cameo) of Wolvie. So, tha...

Yeah, some of the reviews are much harder I've seen. But, more importantly, some of the easier ones are MUCH harder to find in very high grade. ;)

I saw at least 10 of the Turok before I found one that was a solid NM.
