Last years Overstreet lists Doctor Solar #1 in VG as $42. Hope that helps, although I'm sure you could pick it up cheaper on Ebay (cheaper than overstreet, not cheaper than fifty cents)

A little off topic but I think #3 is slightly more key than #4. As I said before it all depends on what you feel is fair. If your not happy ask for a full refund. Waiting for the seller to find a NM copy might not be the best Idea. If it takes him to long you might lose your ability to leave him pro...

I think he's being fair. Most sellers would probably divide the price paid by the books in the lot and offer you the $1.15 you paid per book. But I guess the real question is would you have paid $28 for Rai 1-3, 5-33?

I have traded with a few of the fine members of this board and never had a problem. I feel the only fair way to trade is for both parties to mail at the same time.

As long as you take them as seperate from the original Valiant universe I think you will enjoy most of them. I've started to reread them to compile a character apperance list for this site and I've really enjoyed most of what I've read so far. The only one I remember not really liking was Eternal Wa...

$125 for a Harbinger #0 Pink at the first show it hit. I got my second copy for free at the '95 San Diego comic con for attending the Valiant panel. They had a stack of Harbinger and Rai 0's they were handing out at the door as you left.

may be wrong, but didn't the original Rai's son (the one who turned evil and wore the X-0 Commando armor) have his robot factory underwater? It's in post-Birthquake Magnus You are right. I kinda liked those issues of Magnus that combined the entire future world (Magnus, Rai, Psi-Lords) they were so...

Who knows what the future holds for these books. But I can tell you this, in the early '90's when Valiant started to catch fire it wasn't uncommon to see a Harbinger #1 without the coupon going for around $40. Of course that was prior to the TPB being released. My guess would be that coupon free cop...

That's funny, man. So, I assume Geomancer wasn't the best title out there... I wouldn't say that, it certainly wasn't the greatest book but it had a couple of things going for it. 1. Beautiful art by Rags 2. A glimpse into the lives of the past geomancers 3. No more listening to Geoff wine like a s...

Sounds like you were in my neck of the woods, Dellamorte. I'm guessing both of the shops you went to were Collector's Edge locations here in Milwaukee. Yeah, I was up for a wedding and managed to sneak away for a quick few hours. I've never seen a bigger stock of back issues, to bad they are all sl...

I took a trip up to cheese country last weekend and managed to stop into 6 shops on the way and was totally disappointed. No quarter boxes in any of the shops. One of the stores you had to tell the guy at the counter what you wanted and he would go in the back and check to see if they had it. Anothe...

Personally I was a big fan of the VH2 books. Having read the original line from Unity on and staying a die-hard fan long after the glory was gone these books were a breath of fresh air. I know some people here will say it wasn't necessary to reboot the line, but if you look back and remember the mar...

I wouldn't hold my breath on Blooshot 6 or X-O 16. I think it's going to be similar to the '90's. Your best bets are going to be Pre Unity, Unity, a handful of post unity (Rai 0, Shadowman 8 ) and the low print run books at the end. Of course Golds, Reds and VVSS will always do good.

LCS might put them up on the wall but what does that mean...they have tons of over priced crap up there. True in most cases, I have been in a couple of stores lately and found Valiants on the wall faded by the light with outragous '93 prices on them. But not this store, the wall is filled with gold...

I don't think either book was overpriced, if I didn't have them I would have jumped all over both. Just the sight of them on that back wall really makes me think these books are gonna start going crazy again.
