Re: Most awesome comicbook fight ever, in your opinion!

i also agree with superman/doomsday..but i have not read the miracleman battle For a while it was difficult to. The rights to reprints of the series being in question lead to the original issues being worth quite a bit. Luckily, Marvel just reprinted the entire series in a series of hardcovers (or ...

Re: Most awesome comicbook fight ever, in your opinion!

Have to agree that the MM vs. Kid MM fight was pretty epic. The main battle in Civil War was incredible. Thanos vs. all the cosmic Marvel beings in Infinity Gauntlet was pretty awesome, too, but my favorite comic book fight ever has to be Superman vs. Doomsday. Superman versus a physically superior ...

I agree, what's the point in this it's not like BS 0 has any significance?
I agree. At least it's not a Silver Age key that has miraculously survived in good condition for decades only to become just another book scribbled on by Stan Lee.

Really wish it had been X-O. Would have been a nice achievement to have the title not only surpass it's original run, but also be the longest running Valiant title ever in both iterations.

Re: NC Comic Con Costume Time

Looking good, DBS! I live about 45-minutes away from Durham, but blew off NC Comic Con this year. The film festival was lame compared to previous years and that was the only thing keeping my attention at this con enough to do more than a half-day or day. Glad VEI is still there representing! They've...

Sam Rockwell could have replaced Brad Pitt in any movie he was in and would have made it ten times better.

God, the actress playing Roku is terrible. The other stuff looked neat, though, especially the split second of X-O in flight. The level of violence is something that I don;t really want to see, but I hoe the web series does what Valiant wants it to for them. :hope:

Re: DC Comics Relaunching Everything In June

Yeah, right now I'm reading exactly one Marvel book, which is Ultimates, a great book. Tremendous writing, and tremendous art WHEN they can get the main artist, Kenneth Rocafort, to finish a book. They've had him splitting pencilling duties with some horrible artist who is so bad that it's jarring w...

Re: DC Comics Relaunching Everything In June

Wonder Woman is the best I ever remember it being and there have been some pretty great runs. The storyline that takes place in the presents is dragging a bit, but the story set in the past is great comics. I already said that the Superman, Batman, Flash, Titans, Wonder Woman and Justice League book...

You know, my earlier post was a bit sh!tty and negative. If they brought back Stormwatch P.H.D. with the original creative team (Christos Gage, Doug Mahnke, and Andy Smith I'd check it out. That was a darned fine series.

Re: Wildstorm Reboot

Thank God if this means the Wildstorm characters will no longer inhabit the DCU. High time the powers that be realized that no one has cared about these characters in years. Maybe they'll come to the realization that no one has cared about Jim Lee in years too and DC will be that much better for it....

Sold my Sina Grace original for $45. Was NOT expecting it to go that high. Was thinking around $10-15 dollars. It's a pretty unremarkable sketch, too, by an artist I've never heard of. Wonder how much a nicer one would bring?
