Re: The Death of Shanhara
I don't have the experience from reading this when it first came out (as I read most of X-O straight through this year...) As the previous posts have said... this happened relatively early in the company's career, when they were pretty solid? On top of their game? I'm just wondering, from a readers ...

Re: The Death of Shanhara

Welcome to the boards! I don't post here often - the testosterone levels can be a bit overwhelming (lol) but they are a great group of guys .

Re: Finished Harbinger (Trade 1)
0-7 storyline ends, kinda sublime. But I'm intrigued to see what will happen in the next trade. After reading the reviews about the original series, I can see where it had ground breaking characters & ideas. Fun to read and gain some insight of what made Valiant different when these comics first...

Finished Harbinger (Trade 1)
Last night I decided to read the first trade of Harbinger, finished it in a few hours.
It was a fun read. Different ideas floating around there, will be reading the next trade sometime this week.

My husband tries to get all the variants... they do look awesome... but I hate that they are tucked away in a box
Mmm, mmm... I love the Bloodshot cover.

Re: My Problem with XO and Why I am Excited for #4
I think for me, I'm excited to see the differences! I stopped a few issues after Pol-Bekhara showed up (I think X-O#1 came out so I stopped with the old for a bit!) So far, I am diggin' the direction that Vditty (hehe!) is taking it. I love the pacing- I ate that issue up so fast, I went back for se...

Re: Started reading Valiant this year...
On a tangent, my wife subscribes to US Weekly for $20/year for 52 issues. She tells me that it takes her 6x longer to read her weekly magazines than my a copy of Bloodshot #2. (Note: both cover price of US Weekly and Bloodshot #2 are $3.99) I will need to tell her that I'm a sucker for a good story...

Re: Started reading Valiant this year...
I think it helps that I am artistically inclined -- I'm a sucker for a good story and awesome artwork... so I find a lot of inspiration from comics nowadays :D The only time I read a gossip mag is at the doctors office or at the checkout lane! Wooo! spoilers! I may drop by and check out that thread-...

I'm sure he'l get around to it eventually  We have the hardbacks of XO... he's trying to finish out the singles of the classics... but if I had it my way... Started reading Valiant this year...
... but my husband was bugging me for years before that. He is a big fan of XO and had most of the issues. Whenever we dropped by a store, he would always search in the bargain bins, or whatever, looking for back issues of this company that no longer existed. I knew of this Barbarian guy, who was tr...
