This is tragic. We are all getting older. I'm so sorry for you doodlebird and your family. I certainly wish you the fullest recovery possible.

Re: The Bat-Thread

And to end with a positive note. I grabbed the first collection of Tomasi's run on Detective , and this made up for all the nonsense i got from "Universe". Superb story, just Superb. Its the word I think honestly describes this little gem. The ending had me trying to stop a tear from fall...

Re: CGC White "THE FUTURE OF VALIANT" Custom Label

Seems kinda weird and somewhat bad business for a company that has already reneged on its original "limited" claim to then stop selling something as simple as a printed label that customers are still asking for and that is profitable to the company. I don't understand businesses sometimes.

Re: Did Dynamite ever do any crossover GK3 and not?

Dynamite rebooted the GK3 universe several times. 1) 2014-2015: those series lasted for a year 2) 2016: Gold Key Alliance 3) 2017: Sovereigns plus mini-series 4) 2019: Turok mini only (this probably can't be counted as complete reboot) I enjoyed approach #3. It's quite different but okay. Other peo...

I don't think I would ever buy a book like this because you have no visual of the interior mark to judge for yourself if you believe it to be a creator signature or a doodle from a kid.

IIRC, Starbrand was very involved at the launch of Dark Key and put together some pretty involved fan projects. I bet he may have some material you may want to include in your bind.

Re: Broadway reading order?

I decided that I am going to bind my Broadway Comics set. Any recommended binding order? I would either follow Ryan's suggestion according to publication/release date or separate the pages of the necessary books and bind according to the characters in the order of your preference since there was no...

Re: CGC can grade the Unity Diamond trades now...

Interesting but shouldn’t they be in green qualified labels. Aren’t they all signed on the inside by the Creative team? Very good point. Maybe they missed them? That would be bad since part of what I believe I'm buying in a CGC slab is CGC's attestation that the entire book has been inspected and m...

Re: Harbinger Movie

geocarr, I think Valiant should put you in charge as an architect for the movies. Everything for Darque and Harada makes sense the way you laid it out in trilogy. Most importantly.....You said very eloquently what I was trying to convey.... the first Harbinger movie should concentrate on developing...

Re: Milestone Returns

Icon & Rocket - I think Kirkman's Invincible's dad's story shares some similarities with Icon. I enjoyed the relationship between Icon and Rocket. I probably liked this book better than Static Shock. Hardware - I thought this was a poorly done Iron Man ripoff but I may need to give it a reread. ...

Me too. If they're serious about a 2021 release, I would think they would at least have a teaser image out by now. The Harbinger Foundation symbol if nothing else even if people get it confused with The Hunger Games mockingjay.

Re: Harbinger Movie

Out of curiosity.... how far into the “Harbinger story” do you think this movie will/should go? It seems obvious to me that Harada will have to be in it. But, how far do they go into developing the character of Toyo Harada? Is most of Harada saved for a potential second movie? For me, getting Toyo ...

There are items above, I don't really want to sell. Honestly once they go, I will not find another to replace. I can relate to this sentiment. I sold one of the original X-O Manowar statues years ago and suffer no delusions that I will ever own another. I have been asked by multiple people about my...

I remember years ago, maybe around 2008, the original publisher, maybe Wizard ??, discounted their remaining undistributed copies which appears to be ended up being a case or more for IIRC between $8 -$20 a copy so I imagine there are some who are sitting on handfuls of this book.
