Most dealers will try to get as much as possible from these and throw that 1/100 number around even though they are (potentially) less rare than any 1/20; AND most consumers, as was pointed out, can't do math to save their lives.

I dont think this is embossed. Its not a vvss type comic. I think it was a DF special. They were doing a lot of signed books at the time. Like the Superman #0 (which I also have).

That X-O DLX 3 seems odd. They already covered all of that and then some in the Armor Hunter's DLX. I was expecting 30-40something and 0 in the DLX vol 3.

As far as the covers are concerned they would technically be more common than any 1:20. In reality however, many shops order few (less than 10) copies of any given title so the actual rarity is difficult to pinpoint.

Imperium is really the best that valiant is putting out (now that Ivar concluded) and its a shame it is the lowest ranked.

I am know I am going to be heavily pushing people toward Imperium at my LCS from now on.

Looks like fan art to me. The art style is not quite professional enough and doesn't match anything that Valiant ever put out. Also a lot of the panels do look like an attempt to reproduce other published panels from various valiant comics.
