Re: Legacy Numbering
How do you get to 400 issues of X-O Manowar? A bunch of bad assumptions. 400 months is equal to 33 years, 4 months. It would be a pretty big deal for a comic to be consistently printed for 400 months. Several indy books have made a big deal about hitting 300 - Cerebus, Spawn, Gold Digger. I’d think...

Re: ETERNAL WARRIOR: SCORCHED EARTH
Finally got around to reading this last night and I have to say...I LIKED IT! The villain was just ok for me, nothing to write home about, but I really appreciated the dynamics going on between Gilad, Armstrong, and Tama. A fun, solid read! BURN THE WITCH! Sorry, let me bring this up to board stand...

According to my first pass at a checklist, Bloodfire was their longest running title at 12 issues. They had more nude variant covers than they had second issues of a title.

Re: VEI era hardcovers that never were - what would you want to see?
I'd like to see all of VALIANT, VH 2, and VEI collected in a robust catalog of hardcovers and softcovers, like DC and Marvel has. If VEI/Alien has the reprint rights to Solar, Magnus, and Turok (which we can conclude from the Valiant Classic Collection: Archer and Armstrong Revival Paperback coming...

Re: Alien Books: "I told you"
This thread has got me to wondering - what did syzhang tell us and how accurate was it? Looking back at his posts, this whole affair seems to have begun in early August with this thread: http://valiantfans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1119537#p1119537 Wherein syzhang says that he heard a rumour that Al...

syzhang28, you seem invested in being angry about books you haven't had the opportunity to read or judge yet. But is he wrong? Until the books are printed, then in reader hands, and people then know what they are paying for how many pages, and ultimately what they think of the content, then he is n...

Re: VEI era hardcovers that never were - what would you want to see?
For a start they could catch up with the Deluxe HCs by making: 1) Bloodshot Rising Spirits 1-8 2) Eternal Warrior (2013-2014) 1-8 3) Faith and the Future Force (2017) 1-4, Faith Ongoing #9-12, Faith Dreamside 1-4 and Faith's Wonderland Special #1 4) Generation Zero 1-9 5) Harbinger Renegade 1-8 6) ...

No. No, it is the children who were wrong.
I am having a hard time here.

Re: What's new?
A petty little man backed with Chinese money managed to force a hostile buyout. Dinesh remained on the movie project, with Bloodshot being released the week before the COVID lockdowns. Valiant went through a succession of senior editors that didn't help the situation, going through about one a year....

Re: I miss Turok
I think that Turok would make for a fun action movie as well. Relaunch a tie-in video game to coincide with the movie. There was a pretty decent animated movie released 2007/8-ish. Thanks. I was not aware of that. Now I'm off to tracking that down! Totally, I got the dvd at the time it came out. No...

Yea we bring the characters into this reality and then kill them for real, so we can't even publish books about them anymore. Quantum and Woody were the first to go along with all animal characters. Now I need to find Jesse, Savage, and all those secret weapons kids - I feel a little threatened her...

I think he’d be more excited for the goat. Like in Thor Love and Thunder.
He could use the Anywhen Fold and fix the Star Wars sequel trilogy. And Buffy season 7!
