Re: CGC can grade the Unity Diamond trades now...

Interesting but shouldn’t they be in green qualified labels. Aren’t they all signed on the inside by the Creative team? Very good point. Maybe they missed them? That would be bad since part of what I believe I'm buying in a CGC slab is CGC's attestation that the entire book has been inspected and m...

Re: Harbinger Movie

geocarr, I think Valiant should put you in charge as an architect for the movies. Everything for Darque and Harada makes sense the way you laid it out in trilogy. Most importantly.....You said very eloquently what I was trying to convey.... the first Harbinger movie should concentrate on developing...

And on a lighter note, I saw on FB where Lemon Juice Comics is having a variant wrap around cover for X-O Manowar #2 by JonBoy Meyers.

Re: Milestone Returns

Icon & Rocket - I think Kirkman's Invincible's dad's story shares some similarities with Icon. I enjoyed the relationship between Icon and Rocket. I probably liked this book better than Static Shock. Hardware - I thought this was a poorly done Iron Man ripoff but I may need to give it a reread. I ca...

Re: Rai #6 Discussion

Someone on FB said something about 4001 and Britannia. I haven't read Rai yet and don't care about spoilers so can someone explain that to me? If you're wondering whether or not there is a connection to Britannia......I don't see it that way. The Positronic Roman legion is from a crashed Entertainm...

Me too. If they're serious about a 2021 release, I would think they would at least have a teaser image out by now. The Harbinger Foundation symbol if nothing else even if people get it confused with The Hunger Games mockingjay.

Re: Harbinger Movie

Out of curiosity.... how far into the “Harbinger story” do you think this movie will/should go? It seems obvious to me that Harada will have to be in it. But, how far do they go into developing the character of Toyo Harada? Is most of Harada saved for a potential second movie? For me, getting Toyo ...

Re: in Putting stuff up on eBay, some rare items. 19 Aug update

There are items above, I don't really want to sell. Honestly once they go, I will not find another to replace. I can relate to this sentiment. I sold one of the original X-O Manowar statues years ago and suffer no delusions that I will ever own another. I have been asked by multiple people about my...

Re: X-O Manowar #1/2 Gold - CGC census jump 8/18/2020

I remember years ago, maybe around 2008, the original publisher, maybe Wizard ??, discounted their remaining undistributed copies which appears to be ended up being a case or more for IIRC between $8 -$20 a copy so I imagine there are some who are sitting on handfuls of this book.

I read one of Rich's articles about this yesterday and thought about posting it here but was just overall hit by sadness at the possible thought of the decline of comic books which I hope is not true but hard to avoid the feeling as: we loyal lifelong fans age the world turns away from print and tow...

Well, I just joined the 1:40 club . This arrived today along with the 1:20 #4. Given the popularity of the book, I didn’t think I was going to own one, much less one signed by Ryan Winn and David Baron in 9.8. Think what you want but I don’t care that it’s a green label. I’m very happy. https://upl...
