And boom! https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/dc-cuts-ties-diamond-comic-distribution-1297309?fbclid=IwAR0xxA1pcx5YT0q97h2eFdC14_ixyPV4Sa6h2ucnZSqfwbbkkd1U--pTdSM I'm not sure this is good for shops, as I believe the two new distributors in the article are essentially Midtown Comics and D...

Re: Sketch cover gallery

Got two new sketch covers in Paris. Asked Lee Garbett to try something different and asked Trevor Hairsine just to do what he felt like. Very happy with both. http://www.mobidoc.biz/paris/hairsine.jpg /Magnus Those are both great in their own way but I've been drawn back to looking at the Trevor Ha...

That’s really a beautiful piece. Would you share anything about the history of how you acquired it? Thanks for offering it here!

Re: How many issues of Blank sketch books do you think are printed?

Others should chime in to confirm or correct, but I believe the release order was:

XO / Harbinger Flipbook
Archer & Armstrong / Bloodshot Flipbook
Shadowman /Harbinger Wars Flipbook

I also seem to remember them being pretty limited and getting scooped up pretty quickly.

Re: Why didn't Harada pop Gilad's head in Unity Vol 1 (VEI)?

It sounds to me like you agree with me that Harada "with his skill set" could find a way to permanently kill EW, head explosions or something else. I was trying to remember. Do you have good evidence that VEI EW can be permanently killed? It seems to me that VEI EW is rather more immortal than VH1 ...

Re: Why didn't Harada pop Gilad's head in Unity Vol 1 (VEI)?

Have you thought about what part Gilad might have in Harada's plans? I had something really cool occur to me. In VH1 a big part of Rai Zero was Harada's desperate quest for immortality or at least a way to continue living. Maybe instead of Armstrong like VH1, Harada was planning to "study" EW? I li...

Re: Why didn't Harada pop Gilad's head in Unity Vol 1 (VEI)?

I don't think the Bleeding Monk ever mentioned Gilad. I think you're missing the point that Harada actually wanted Gilad to shoot himself in the head. I'm not disagreeing with you. I was just trying to offer as plausible possibilities as I could think of to answer the question that is the title of ...

Re: Why didn't Harada pop Gilad's head in Unity Vol 1 (VEI)?

My best attempt to logically justify Harada allowing Gilad to live would be that Harada telepathically realized the amount of history Gilad has lived through and believes that Gilad's historical and tactical knowledge might be useful to his plans somehow in the future. It's the only reason I can ima...

The most recent X-O Manowar #1 likely is the worst debut issue since 2012.
Not saying you're wrong, but Dead Drop is near the top of that list too. :P

Re: Geocarr's Gallery

Original Art for Unity Card Set by Carol van Hook Magnus, Sonicdan, and I (IIRC) bought the entire art card set from Metropolis Comics sometime around 2009 (?) and divided them between us and these are the ones I picked out. Each card measures 2.75" x 3.75". https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200522...

Re: Who won the EW 27 9.8 VVSS?

out of curiosity what was your max bid? And congrates I won't say what my max bid was but I'll say that I was bidding to win it given my perceived rarity of a 9.8 EW 27 VVSS but I also believe I would have been outbid if any of at least 3 other Valiant collectors had been bidding on the same auction.
