Re: Valiant Covers
I hear what you're saying Ed, but the VEI titles I receive from your shop are in far better condition than those I see at my LCS. I'm guessing your staff handles the books with more care than my LCS and your books arrive in better condition because you order more volume. Just saying! Well, I order ...

Re: question about bulk buys...
That's an easy run of books to sell, too. I'd imagine that Amazing and Uncanny are some of the easiest to sell. I'm looking at a nice run of early Uncanny, but it's $15 a book, which I think is fair, but certainly not a deal given the large number of books I'd need to buy. That's part of the proble...

Re: WTB: CGC Grendel & Broadway Comics OA
Geo I presume you are talking about the original/first Grendel 1-3. Here is your all in one package . He has been trying to sell it for a few years now and has come down form his initial offer of about 7K IIRC. #2 has been a pain for me to find on its own in 9.8. I find 1 and 3 are relatively easy t...

Isn't that cute! :P Jk... I knew you had a bunch.... But not THAT many. :thumb: Rico"Suave"Mortis That was the VH1 Master Set and Pre-Hero Master Set circa 2011. It's grown by 1 or 2 CGC boxes. It's about half of all 1990s Valiant books, maybe a little more than half. If I told you there ...

How should I observe Canadian Thanksgiving day? Perhaps by eating poutine and trying to copy a double double? Should I wear my Calgary Hitmen hockey jersey? And get my wife to wear her Nashville Predators jersey? Spent mine camping (yes the tent kind not the Rv kind) with a two other families. We c...

As a bus driver, I've seen kids get on the bus with copies of various Bone trade paperbacks they have borrowed from the school library, so it seems that quite a few kids are into it. Funny you should mention that as my kids sign Bone out regularly from their school library as well which I think is ...

Sure it does...13 Blue copies exist that if the owners send off for signature series to speculate which as you know would mean no more Blue labels and their value goes above Yellow while the Yellow plateaus at 100-150 $ were it should...would it not :P :thumb: I'm not sure, I had some difficulty re...

Re: Do Signature Series comics grind anybody elses gears?
CGC SIG series has brought an important aspect to the Comic collectable business. The cards market went through trash a while ago over forged signatures on cards being sold as originals for high $$$$, sure still happens sure and no doubt. When buying a comic with a sig on it, ask yourself if you wou...

Drove down to FE on Sunday only and was surprised to see the VEI booth. Talked to Pete as well. There was supposed to be a VEI Panel that afternoon as I was standing at their booth when one of the FE folks came by saying there were perople waiting. It was cancelled but I guess some lines got crossed...

Re: What's going on with the Harbinger 7 flamingo cover?
What is difficult to comprehend is why there have been so many distribution issues of late (X-O 6, etc) and confusion in the market place. Variants and 50/50 covers are certainly not new but the net result is the consumers suffering.
