Cliffy's Valiant story

I first started collecting comics in 1986, right when the New Universe came out. I bought a handful of titles (and followed D.P.7 through the first year and a half), enjoying the concepts more than the execution. Eventually, I lost interest in comics and stopped collecting about 1992.

I remember thinking that the reboot of Magnus that took place years later was bad (was that Bedard's run?). It's been a long time since I read it, but doesn't Magnus completely revert to a remorseless robotkiller after previous issues showed him that robots were people too?

It's in continuity with the sigil books, if that's what you're asking. There aren't any actual sigils in it, but there aren't any in Crux, Ruse, Route666, or Way of the Rat, either -- they're still all part of the same milleu, the same ...

Oh, hey, one more thing -- your Sigil-centric/non-Sigil list needs a little updating. Kiss Kiss Bang Band, El Cazador, and the El Caz one-shot are all Sigilverse titles; they just took place far away from the main conflicts that drove the other Sigilverse books.
