They don't have quite the selection MyComicsShop.com has and it seems their prices are a little higher on most VALIANT's, but they do offer free shipping on all their orders plus other incentives like free comics.

My favorite FCBD books were Buzzboy: Sidekicks Rule #1 and the Adventures of Ironside Tom. I knew nothing about these books going in and I loved 'em both!

I read the Road to Civil War issues in FF, as I'm a Dr. Doom fan. I must admit, I found myself enjoying them, along with the possible return of someone else.

As for Annihilation, I'm a hardcore cosmic fan. But the glaring gaps in continuity have thrown me off the event. I'm not picking up any of ...

I used to have this. I know I own Plasm #0, which I got from Previews. No clue what I did with Deathmate though. Maybe I wished hard enough and it never happened for me.

I'm just curious as to what your experiences have been with finding VALIANT books at your local comic shops.

I live in the Milwaukee metro, so I've got 12 comic shops within an hour drive of me. Two of these shops are bonanzas for Valiant books. Collector's Edge has every single Valiant book ...

I don't get why anyone would refuse to reveal a reserve. What's the point of hiding the price? Seems counter productive to me. I have never bid on an auction where the seller wouldn't reveal the reserve. Just discouraging....I might even put the reserve amount in the description. :thumb:

I've seen it quite a few times. That DVD is one of my fiancee's favorites.

I've only won one reserve auction, and that was for the entire Starlin run of Batman. I didn't win the auction, but I was the only bidder and didn't meet the reserve, but the seller gave me the option to buy anyway.
