Re: ♦———♦——— Valiant Comics Timeline ———♦———♦

Holy Moses! Im a bit speechless about what Im looking at here. You must know more about timeline than nearly anyone else, no??? :o So, my thoughts were this: Has anyone ever taken the time to go panel by panel to recreate the UNITY saga to have it all in chronological order and not have panels repea...

Re: Valiant Universe Chronology - 20th Century - Vol. 1 & 2

There seem to be many instances of that happening (same dialogue/scene from a different perspective). It must have taken a ton of time to organize that and make it happen in those issues, and I think it was absolutely NEAT when reading them as they were released.

Re: Valiant Universe Chronology - 20th Century - Vol. 1 & 2

Thanks for the bump on this :) As I was reading through my VCS UNITY book, I noticed there is a lot of overlap and bouncing back and forth.. I was wishing that I didn't have to reread those parts and could just read through in as a linear story. Any thoughts about scanning pages or panels into a for...

Re: VALIANT Release Order by Week

Are you checking for continuity as well? Waitaminute.. did you, or someone else, create a continuity correct reading list? That may be used for making sure that is kept in the best reading order as well. No, I'm going strictly by the date given on Mike's. Maybe someone has that info? I would need t...

Re: VALIANT Release Order by Week

Hey!! Looking good!! I noticed on Mike's Amazing World of Comics where it shows release dates, in 1991 the release days were Fridays, then in 92 it moved to Tuesdays..although I'm unsure the reason. My LCBS had new books on Wednesdays but maybe they arrived on Tuesdays? Not sure.

Re: Creating a VH1 reading order by release date.. whos in? Or has it been done?

I still need to clean it up a bit, but all the way through Unity is there. I think the week by week gets less important later, even Unity came out a bit out of order if you go by the weeks. Really fun to see how it builds month by month though. I will check this out. I completely understand that th...

Re: README FIRST: The Re-Reading Valiant Project

That Mike's World link provides the exact week when each issue was released. That's very helpful yet I'd still need to determine how those books should be read. Maybe the chronological reading list could help at this.

Creating a VH1 reading order by release date.. whos in? Or has it been done?

Greg has a very nice chart that shows release dates but it doesn't show reading order. I know there is a 'Chronological Reading Order' but I was hoping for more of a 'read it like it was revealed the first time' order. So many neat things happened and things were revealed at a later time that gave y...

See, I like this idea! The Superman comics did this in the 90s and it worked really well across the 4 different Superman titles. :thumb: Their numbering was on the cover page though. Either way, Im good..

Re: Whats the good word? Its been a while...

Everything's been pretty haphazard and disconnected lately, unsurprisingly. However, I've actually been pretty happy with Valiant's 2019 output, and I'm excited to see what happens next. Faith: Dreamside- Solid. One of Faith's best stories. Bloodshot Rising Spirit- Garbage. Livewire- Good, not grea...

Re: Whats the good word? Its been a while...

Things have been a little disconnected recently. But it did occur to me that Valiant might want to hold back a little for now and then make a big push with some new titles in the new year. If they had a few number 1s of their top characters out around the time of the Bloodshot movie, that might pul...

Whats the good word? Its been a while...

Hello fellows! Its been forever since Ive been here. Whats the word on the new books? Is there a main story line that is taking the comp...

Re: Wheels on Bloodshot movie are turning

god never even thought about a decent budget. If it doesn't get one this thing is dead. But it looks like there IS internal funding for the Shadowman movie, at least at this time: Said Valiant CEO Jason Kothari: “Shadowman is the first in a large slate of film projects that we are developing and fu...

Re: Transformers Digital comics...

The digital reprints were 'ok'. Sometimes the words were difficult to read as though the scan quality wasnt high enough.

Ive enjoyed the series but not Im wanting to finish without the books.

I think Ive found the copies I need on the IDW website... so I will probably save up for those :)
