Re: RE: MySpace, etc.

So, just to be clear...we DON'T want Porn Stars and a Booty Call?

<Issue 2 of Oracle: The Cure comes out Wednesday>

And we DON'T want subliminal advertising ?

<Hot Sex>

(For those of you old enough to remember Kevin Nealon on SNL doing the subliminal advertising bit...)

Thanks for all ...

Master Darque and Darque Passenges were great and I perfer the Accliam version over the Valiant version.

I agree completely. The VH/2 version of Darque was just a more complex character overall. Especially when you add in the ties to the Forever Family.

It's nice to see some VH/2 love around ...

Do NOT get me started on Unity 2000 (and Starlin is among my favorite artists but THIS series... ugh, IMO this is something that should have never been printed, sorry to say).

The whole project just seemed phoned in to me. The art was *horrible*!!!
But that is another rant.

VH2 was darn good ...

Wow, I didn't know that typing "V-H-1" and "V-H-2" on the boards resulted in them being presented as VH1 and VH2.

What happens if type "U2K" is it replaced with *SQUEE*?

My appreciation for the VH2 stuff is pretty well known. Mind you, I'm not necessarily a fan of it in place of VH1, but let's face it, VH1 was pretty crappy at the end there.

A fresh take was a good thing (especially since there were plans to bring VH1 back into the fold - some of it at least ...

Are we talking a complete run? Variants and all.

Complete as in one of every issue, with variants on all the VH2 stuff and many of the VH1 stuff as well. Not all of the gold books, but several.

But certainly a complete reading of all the issues/story lines. I'm actually kind of stoked to have ...

I found the best Valiant deals *ever* this weekend.
While perusing a local used bookstore I found a copy of Magnus #25 for 25 cents. Great for use in the baby room decorating project.

I then brokered a deal for a complete run of VH1 and VH2/3 (and a batman animated series run) for the unbelievable ...

over the years I think I've had 3 complete runs of all the VH1 stuff (i didn't go for the premiums. Had a few, but mostly cared for the story lines).

Had a complete set of VH2/3 as well.

Re: Unity 2000 And Omar's Screw Up In A New Light

When Unity 2000 #2 came out and people saw the panel of Phil holding a copy of VALIANT's Solar Man of The Atom #1, the belief at the time was that Omar, the editor, had screwed up and scanned the wrong comic in place of a copy of Gold Key's Doctor Solar Man of The Atom #15... but what if it wasn't ...
