i was forced to stop buying by the fact the two main comic shops in leicester could no longer get valiant because of how slipshod the copmpany had become in shipping their products on time etc.,
my fave titles were shadowman , bloodshot , x-o man-o-war and eternal warrior.

im guessing most comic readers , collectors etc., know of marvels main event this year , the CivilWar spreading ammongst a good number of titles and being pretty decent stuff thus far.
this thread though is about the lesser known event called Annihilation that started off with a prologue issue ...

i just regarded them has a bit of fun , kind of like a what-if? nothing more.
that way they can be enjoyed.
deathmate is a sympton of the comic industry at that time , to few quality artist and writers with a steady expansion in the ammount of products that was insupportable.

back in the late eighties , early ninetys i used to collect mostly marvel comics , namely the uncanny x-men.used to go in every month and pick up about seven to eight comics when one month i was talking to the guy taking my money and he said valiant were pretty good so i gave them a go.
