It sounds like there were an awful lot of different sets out there with different things in them.
My envelope has '14' on the gold seal, the CoA, and on the letter--which is similar though has some differences to the one on Dan's site (again, a terrific site). Basically, the differences are about ...

NO cards, but I found some stuff
Neither of the bottles have cards, they were just sent I think UPS and only bubble wrap inside. I'll check under it later. I saw a card on Dan's site--guess we didn't rate enough for the card, but I'm happy enough with the bottles.

Thanks for the website info
What a cool site! I didn't know there was so much stuff out there.
Hubby is not yet interested in selling the Dark Con Set, but it's nice to know the effort to keep it in good shape wasn't wasted.

I can't speak for Propita but as for me don't worry I'm not going anywhere.
I'm still here too.
And thanks about the other thread I was on, telling me where Dan's website is. WOW! Very cool site and what a collection. I know I tossed a few things during our big move.

Dark Con print set questions
Quasi-repost from another thread:
Digging in the basement, I found a Valiant item that I've been told is refered to as a Dark Con print set. It is a large manilla envelope (really big, about 12" x 18"). Inside in a really nice plastic sleeve is a cert of authenticity for this item: Red Cross Print ...

One of the few things we don't need
Although I don't want to get rid of most of our stuff, I wouldn't mind this one while it's still in good shape. Storage can do nasty things to paper.
Thanks for the suggestion.

If you mean me . . .
I sent that ho to make me some picadillo!! Guess she realized she belongs in the kitchen and not the forums. That, or she already hawked her books she was trying to sell.
. . . I've been busy and will soon be busier once I start law school. But I'm trying to check in here once in a while.

Thanks
It's nice to be welcomed so warmly.
Yes, I am the female half of a male-female marriage.
We have tons of comics from the early 90's (about 5000 or so), but had to stop collecting when hubby went back to school.

I was stupid
My husband and I got into comics around 1990. We checked out Diamond and Capitol (those were the two, right?) every month. When he saw that 'Magnus' was coming back, he ordered two copies. We also tried the other Valiant titles that were starting.
I liked 'Solar' and 'Harbinger'. We ended up ...
