Re: I'm curious. How many VEI readers have never read VH1 Un
I'm slowly making progress in my listen to the old OTV podcast...I skip ahead sometimes but as for old stuff I'm on Episode 16: Unity The question was raised that there might be listeners who've never read Unity (meaning VH1) and should know how cool it is That's even a more appropriate question no...

Re: Valiant back on Humble Bundle
For a donation of at least $15.00, you get all of the volumes shown in the Humble Bundle Valiant set. It is over $450. face value of books if you could even find them for face value. It is a HUGE binge read event which is well worth the donation. Glad to hear you'll be taking advantage of this. You...

Re: Valiant back on Humble Bundle
Ok, I'm interested in catching up reading Valiant and this seems like a good way to do it. I've looked at the Humble Bundle site and I'm just not sure what I get for my money. I've never used the service before and don't find the descriptions to be very clear. Is it the entire current catalog for at...

Re: Unity Redux free digital download
I'm considering a chronological Unity binding project, and have been looking over the issues to judge the feasibility. I'd love to get a look at these files, or even just any written out notes about what panels go in what order. (It seems like every issue that shows the first battle when they all a...

Re: Texas Comic conventions
I've been to Space City Comic Con twice. First was for the big Babylon 5 cast reunion. Second was this past Saturday. It's a great event. Big show, but with a laid back small show feel. It was in Galveston at Moody Gardens for the B5 reunion and I really loved that location. This past Saturday was a...

Re: Create a comic book character
I looked up Kevin Smith's Onamonapia and I think my idea is better. Unlike his, my character WOULD translate very well to TV/film. I see it as a comedy, though. Something along the lines of Mystery Men. Because a guy making airplane noises so he could fly, and "pew pew" noises so he could shoot lase...

Outside the Skystriker and the Rattler, the Conquest X-30 was one of my favorite planes! I had it and my cousin had the Night Raven. I thought the Night Raven was cool, but it was just too big. The Conquest X-30 was perfect! Nice, I got the conquest for Christmas of 1986. Coincidentally, that year ...

Are these characters too damaged now?
After a couple failed attempts with this group of characters, are they now too damaged to be incorporated into the VEI universe - even if VEI were able to purchase ownership of them outright? (I don't think that's likely, btw, just posing a hypothetical.) They failed at Dynamite. They failed at Dark...

I think XO would be best suited for a movie (see what I did there?).
Both "buddy" properties - Quantum and Woody, and Archer & Armstrong - would work great as episodic tv shows.

Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children. Each issue was more of a short story with accompanying artwork. Usually prose on one page and a picture on the opposing page. The first one I ever read was about Death (grim reaper type, not Sandman's sister) takes a day off from taking lives and visits an old ma...
