Poison Elves is awesome. I have the first six trades, covering the Mulehide years and the beginning of the Sirius run, but yes I find that I have to be in the mindset for the text pieces. After a while, they actually don't seem that long.

Does anyone have any info on the Birthquake Prequel? I see it's listed as being included in the third X-O book in the mapping thread, but I'm having trouble finding info on it or finding a copy. Thanks in advance! The X-O Birthquake Prequel (more like a teaser if you ask me) was in X-O Manowar 42 a...

Acclaim was MUCH better than late Valiant.....if you can do what Elveen suggests [get past that the names are the same but the characters were not] Seriously, late Valiant sucked the life out of me reading it Honestly, I value all your opinions enough, that for most series, I stop at Chaos Effect. ...

Absolutely. You can almost consider 1-48 one huge mega arc.
That's a great way of putting it! :thumb:

More or less anything with a Green Lantern in the title from the last 4 or 5 years is worth buying. The current GL series was great even before the Sinestro Corps event came along. Quoted for truth. Don't sell the Green Lantern Corps series short either, as it is just as important, especially when ...

I didn't know that they published a WD compendium. I've been meaning to get into this series for a long time now, but I've held off. I might pick up the big book of zombies now.. Do it! It covers issues 1-48 and even then leaves you wanting more! Is issue 48 a good wrap up point for the story? The ...

I haven't sold to Mile High, but MyComicShop's buy/trade program has been a lifesaver too ! Absolutely. I sent them a little less than a short box for $100 in store credit and was able to get 41 books to finish off my Groo run, Giffen Justice Leagues, ASM (only need a #3 now :) ), and filling in a ...

I got the Walking Dead Compendium for myself this last week. It arrived on Thursday, and between the past two days, I've read the entire thing. What an amazing story! It's pure character study in a backdrop of what I consider one of the greatest survival scenarios ever. It doesn't hurt that Night o...

Ok, I think this makes it clear...Greg needs to update the price guide again. When I first started coming here, I'll admit I saw books selling on these boards for below Greg's guide, sometimes for the wholesale price. I'm sure the economy hasn't helped, and the fact that the hardcore already have w...

I think a lot of it how and wheer you are willing to look. We put a lot of emphasis on the rarity of end books due to print runs, but honestly, most dealers I know could care less about any of the imprint and treat it the same, with the exception of the pre-Unity books and the premiums (Golds and s...

I'll be PM'ing delivery confirmation numbers tonight.
