Thanks for the welcome, Dino! I made some regretable mistakes, & have missed speaking openly with all of you these past few months. :) And about the good constuctive conversations Knight & I have been having, check out Defiant1's messageboard. We've had some good talks about Jim Shooter's De...

Wildman Steve G. is back! (Um, is this going to turn out like that parable about the frog and the scorpion? I sure hope not! :hope: ) Personally, I've had dealings with just about everyone on this board either as a seller, buyer or trading partner (including ALL parties to the past blow-ups), and s...

If you combine my VK posts wth my WoU posts, I'm closing in on 750...:) That would put me in the Top Ten! Actually, I'd like to have my old VK account back if possible, but right now Greg has it locked. I had some important PMs with addresses saved there that I haven't been able to access since 8/31...

Cover dates never represent when an issue was released. Most companies worked on a two to three month advance lead. BS #1 came out the same week Superman #75 did (Death of Supes), which was early November 1992. It looks like KVH might have had a copy of BS #1 in front of him for sketch reference.---...

Sounds like it was made close to when Bloodshot #1 came out. Earliest dated sketch I've seen. I'd love to see any model sheets that were made for the character. It's interesting to see how things develop with new characters.---Steve

WIZARD Collection #1-146 For Sale CHEEP!

I currently have many early issues of WIZARD on ebay right now. Will be listing the rest tomorrow. Included is issue #7, with the X-O Manowar cover & great Valiant article, plus an opened Gold version of #17, which had a Valiant cover, & special Valiant coverage inside. Thanks for looking.--...

Unfortunately, not me. I don't know who the lucky dog is on this one!

I did manage to snag three early Solar pieces, the Shadow King model sheet, & an unpublished cover to Dr. Tomorrow #12. But always looking for more...Bob still has one my Solar pieces on his Art Gallery. :) ---Steve

Of course I have no clue what all this was about. Guess I should lurk more. But, um...I heard Vault Keeper was talking junk about my mom. Called her big fat and ugly! It may be true but it still hurt my feelings. Sniff. And then he ripped up my Magnus Robot Fighter VS. Predator TPB! Don't be fooled...

Subject matter makes all the difference when it comes to prices. An early Ditko Spider-Man cover is as much as $25k+. The same and then some for similar period Kirby. I know there were supposed to be ten original Ditko art cards inserted at an ungodly rate of something like 1 to every 215,000 packs ...

An Open Apology To ALL From Vault-Keeper

To all board members & guests: I sincerely apologize. I am sorry for the totally uncalled for & crappy remarks that I've made in the past which caused Greg to ban me. I have no intention of defending a single one of my bad remarks, nor am I pointing a finger towards anyone but myself. No ma...

Try writing him a reasonable letter, & ask him if he's willing to mutually withdraw your feedback to each other. Explain that you had no problems with the first two books, & it was unfair for them to counter your positive remarks with their negative ones. It's worth a try. Good luck! :)

It has a cardstock cover with no red foil or holo-webs on it. I saw one at a show, back when it was first discovered, but I never bought it ($300!!). I heard a whole case of these were sent to a comic store somewhere in Arizona back when it first came out in 1993. I have a Gold Edition, which looks ...
