Here is a question - Harbinger powers are psionic in nature (mind based) - even the powers with a physical, tangible product (ie, fire from Flamingo).

Presumably, there is no difference in her biology, biochemistry, or physiology than a "normal" human - otherwise the power would not be psionic in ...

I just got the Wii Fit tonight... wow, it is pretty cool!

It's like Brain Academy but with physical activities. You get a trainer and you have target areas to work on, allows you to track your progress, over time. It's got goal setting. You get rewards and unlocks extra games.

Fun stuff!

Jordan's Spectre was about forgiveness and redeeption not about vengence and Bibcal vs. moderen day justice.

That was the problem! Forgiveness and redemption was the resolution to the conflict between the two characters and should have been the midpoint of the series (...I know it was an ...

Re: The age old question: which is better Marvel or DC?

Hal Jordan I *SQUEE* HATE that character more than Batman, I have never cared for him in any series. He is the most boring character in the DCU and no matter who writes him he always seems to have the personality of a dead cat. The only time he was intertesing and I cared for him some what was ...

Steering things back to the economy. Talk is, Bear Stearns shareholders may try to fight the merger. The feeling is, the company is worth more than $2 a share and the gov't jumped the gun. One particular shareholder owns around 9% and stands to lose, I believe I read, $1 billion. Things could turn ...

I think its a good time invest in foreign currency because ours keeps getting worse and worse. Whenever oil gets backed with the Euro we are done.

It was a good time to buy foreign currencies back when the dollar was high. If you can see the dollar eventually going back up, then you want to ...

Can't you even give me a courtesy heads up that you are going to do a run on gamerpoints???

Shame on you!

Congrats, though. I do have to confess that I have been quite slack on my gaming for a good while.

People are cashing out on their collection to pay the mortgage bill on a depreciating house, cover ever rising expenses from the rise in oil, etc. The rise in supply is leading to lower prices.

Where is the rise in supply? eBay's current crop of comics are about the same as they usually have ...

Who stayed dead for 15 years?

I think it was 5 or 6 years.

maybe he meant the Pheonix and not Jean.

no, jean was gone for a good while before being brought back in FF for inclusion in the x-factor start up.

i could have my dates wrong, but i thought she was gone at least 10 years.

It was ...

Didn't they attempt to address this situation in Shadowman?

I remember a story where Jack does something insane, Nettie asks him what was he thinking, he responds that he did that because he knew he wouldn't die because of what he heard during Unity, and Nettie, in essence, says that things can ...

Never really thought of Rai #0 like that before.

Kinda makes it like a Superman story (well, 99.9999% of the time)... you know he's not in any mortal danger and he will not die himself. The only drama is in whether the supporting cast will survive.

Rai #0 has and always will be the Valiant Bible.

But like the bible it's all open to interpretation.

How can it be open to interpretation when 81% of it came true just as shown?

Where's the interpretation in that?

Well, the tagline to Unity is "Time Is Not Absolute"... so why would Rai #0 be ...

I think it really depends on if VEI can get the rights to use the Gold Key characters.

If that's not possible, then Rai #0 should be scrapped.
