Shoot him in the MOUTH!!!!!!!
That's what one of the 'bad guys' in Robocop 3 yells as they are getting destroyed in a battle with Robocop. It may be the funniest unintentionally funny line in a movie ever.

Anyone read "Blankets" graphic novel?
I just read this in one sitting, couldn't put it down. If you've ever had a crush or a perfect summer romance end by circumstance this will speak to you. Also if you grew up in a very christian fundimentalist area there is a lot of great insite on some of the hypocracy that goes on.

Predator Vs. Magnus TPB For Sale, Also X-O #1 & #4
I'm selling a Predator Vs. Magnus TPB on Ebay along w/ X-O #1 and #4.
The Predator Vs. Magnus TPB is in pretty good condition. I'm not really into grading but it is really flat with no spine creasing. Overall it seems to be a very good to near mint copy. The corners on the spine have some very ...

Anyone reading Bone: One Volume Collection?
I'd never read Bone before but I love it. This format is awesome, a 1300+ page epic all in the palm of your hands! I've read over half of it and the spine shows no creasing as many were worried about. I guess they're printing it to meet demand up until June 2005, then it'll be no more. I got mine ...

Harbinger #6... can someone give me a synopsis?
I never read Harbinger back in the day because I was mostly just into Magnus. I just spent a fortune on tons of Valiants and one of my only holes is Harbinger #6. As I can't find it at any LCS's and I don't have any patience for eBay right now, someone give me a brief synopsis of the events. Judging ...

I don't think comics are too expensive, and I don't think of them only as entertainment like a movie or tv show. Comic collecting is a hobby. The model I compare it to is baseball cards. Those cost 2-5 dollars a pack and what does a baseball card do? Can you read it? no, you put it in a box or a ...

Doctor Spectrum by Marvel? Cover looks like Solar ripoff.
Anybody check this out? The title and cover look quite a bit like a Solar ripoff, the logo has the color spectrum similar to the colors that ooze from Solar. And the title, Doctor Spectrum...

movie? TV's a better fit, it's very episode-friendly
People are talking movie, but I think there'd be more money to be made in TV. It could be on HBO, Showtime or FX. Anyone who's seen Nip/Tuck on FX can testify that, whether you like it or not, it destroys nearly every other tv show in production value and writing.
Anyway, on TV he could get into all ...

New Batman movie in Chicago, saw a star actress
The new Batman movie's being filmed here in Chicago, mostly on lower State and Michigan streets that are kind of creepy and all underground. Anyway, I saw Katie Holmes whom I'm pretty sure is playing some damsel in distress in the film at the restaurant I wait tables at part time. I just missed ...

I remembered I first started comics around late 1990. Does anyone remember the first Marvel Series cards released by Impel?

Sounds a lot like myself, except I was a Magnus freak and my parents sort of forcefully ended my comics hobby as a sophomore in high school (to their credit it had become too much of an obsession).

Thanks all. Funny someone should mention Silver Surfer as that was always my fav super hero comic and I had/have almost the whole set of volume II. I had almost checked out Swamp Thing already (not because of advice but out of vague memories of the tv series when I was a kid), but I don't know much ...

newbie Q's
Just got back into comics after about a nine year break. Magnus and Bloodshot were two of my favs and I stumbled upon this awesome site while trying to track down some of my old collection and new issues. I've already got Magnus 1-35 with only a couple missing. I'm also thinking about reading ...
