is that the one who died from an intrusive saxophone? that's vh-2 right? It was VH 2 but I think that Ennis' story could have worked set in VH 1 if you changed the dialogue. Some of the character designs must have been changed when it was decided to make it a VH 2 story, but it's possible that the ...

I sent Acclaim a bunch of (really, really bad, awfully writen, bad grammar) letters a few months before they canceled their entire line. I sent them with enough time for them to print one in Bloodshot #16, which at the time Iwrote them was the only title they had said they were going to cancel. Mayb...

Don't trust what Rai 0 says. The dialogue wasn't writen by the same guy that wrote the actual story. There's three sources that say that it was Jack that dies in 99; Unity; Post-Unity issues of Shadowman where he gives out the date; and the VALIANT Timeline found in the VALIANT voice. Consider this,...

Done by the same guy who did the published Darque, above. For some reason his Darque looks much better than his Hwen and Carmen. Again, you don't know the whole story. She really wasn't (well, maybe she was. I just know that Laura Croft has big guns) Lol. Aram looked way tougher and cooler t...

I was refering to this: And while we're at it,any other unpublished VH-3 stuff on the web other than the Solar and Bloodshot links I found on this board? Far as I know, there's never been any VH 3 Solar art (if there is, I've never seen it). The only thing that comes close was Pat Quinn's Solar, whi...

Didn't you post them on the old mailing lists' photos section? Mirage looks like a reject of a Bruce Timm animated toon, heh. A cross between Hwen, Dr. Strange and Timm's Batman, lol. Carmen's a Lara Croft wanna be. I don't remember seeing Aram.... I might have. I think he looked like an animated ve...

Thanks a lot for posting the image Dan. The Solar and Magnus links you found aren't VH 3, btw, they're from a failed relaunch independant of Acclaim. What company was Solar done for? Did Acclaim loose it to? (I know they lost Magnus). What about the Bloodshot stuff done by the same artist? From wha...

speaking of bloodshot and solar 2004 where are the current plots? are they posted on here somewhere? i was really diggin' the bloodshot story. The Solar 2004 project just reached the half way point, 24 pages out of 48 (script). Hopefully the pencillers will start working on those while we finish th...

1) does this assume that Darque dies as well? I can't find my copy of the VALIANT Voice timeline. What does it say about 1999? 2) would the media know who Darque is (and his name)? Didn't a reporter visit Darque's manor in New Orleans once? I think he was welcomed by Sandria who took him out back.....

I've always had an image in my head connected to the event. See, in the future it's commun knowledge that Jack Boniface was Shadowman, so his death has to be public (not secret like in U2K). So, the image I have in my head is Darque in Times Square fighting Shadowman. They both die and Jack's body f...

Re: Valiant VS DC VS Marvel
Yes, I would to see that too. There is one big problem. Although the Metal Men have robot bodies, they have human brains stored in Dr Will Magnus' base. Well, actually, the Metal Men's brain patters live within the Responsometers which are stored within their robotic bodies. They could essentially ...

Hey guys: I'm working on the script for Solar 2004 and I want to do a reference to the 99 Event. How does the name "Darque Inferno" sound to you guys? It could be what the news outlets dubbed it. I know it sounds like something out of Marvel, so if anyone has a better name I'm open to sugg...

Someone has a proposal for a Metal Men series at DC now, I don't remember who. I hope that whoever ends up doing it doesn't negate but evolves from where the character is right now. One drop of blood or one hair is all that's needed to clone Magnus. Someone either at DC or Marvel should create a cha...

That's who the character evolved into
Although, I think that may have been changed in recent years, I'm not sure.

Magnus vs the Metal Men would be awesome!magnusr wrote:I would like to go one step further than Amalgam did, and see Magnus vs Magnus vs Magnus.
Magnus would win over Magnus, but I have to admit neither of them would have much of a chance against Magnus.
